Review titled Appoinments
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 02 October 2024
I have been trying to get an appointment for 3 days after being told by the Hospital when I was discharged to see a doctor the next day. I tried to ring the practice at different times but only got a recorded message telling me to keep trying. It took a visit by my grandaughter demanding an appointment that I was given a link to get an appointment . This I did and the appointment should be face to face with a doctor instead I was given a telephone appointment this was no good because a doctor needed to see the reason for my request. I'm still waiting for the doctor to ring.

Review titled Caring nurses.
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Over the last 12 months, I have suffered recurring bouts of leg ulcers. Although actually getting an initial appointment to be seen can be very frustrating, once in the system, the standard of care has been exemplary. My problem is persistent, but the nursing staff at the Memorial surgery have done their utmost to manage and resolve the issue for me. I feel grateful for the care I have received.

Review titled Difficult but Good Service!
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Nicola Vogel - Posted on 20 June 2024
Difficult to get on the day Appointments but when you do get an appointment the staff are very helpful and accommodating. The lady doctor that we saw is a lovely lady & great with children. Never rushes you & listens to your concerns. Did have to wait for a ‘general’ appointment but she was amazing with my son. The reception staff were also very helpful and polite.

Review titled Staff rude and unhelpful
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 07 June 2024
Unfortunately the receptionists seem to have a lack of care and sympathy. Not friendly and speak over you. If the phones are not answered there is no choice but to go by person and this is frowned upon by the staff , no compassion . I waited 40 minutes to be seen

Review titled Amazing DR
Rated 4 stars out of 5

DR, can’t thank you enough. all my health problems, worries and anxieties, she has released so much pressure and stress off of me, she is a fantastic listener and always gets to the bottom of things. After being passed about from pillar to post, she finally listened and took me seriously. Thank you again. Brilliant service goes above and beyond , I must add this was my first time meeting her.

Was treated with kindness, empathy and respect. My doctor gave me good advice and put wheels in motion straight away, it's help I needed and now will be guided in the right direction with the help of my GP

Review titled Awful phone service
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 04 April 2024
Tried multiple times to get through to the surgery and was unsuccessful, finally get through and put in to a queuing system, was on hold for 40 minutes and only got 2 spaces forward in the queue, how is reception only answering 2 calls in 40 minutes? After all this time sitting on hold after trying all day to get through I was then cut off as it was closing time. Terrible service.
