Review titled Better telephone system
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Robert smith - Posted on 19 October 2023
Tried the new telephone system today, seems much more explanatory, if unsure you can still talk to staff. You can use patient partner number if you don't have Internet. Progress.

Dear Robert Smith We would like to thank you for your feedback and will share with practice team and Patient Participation Group. We have listened to our patient's feedback and wanted to have a system in place for those who could use digital and for those who were non-digital to be able to book appointments or contact practice for queries without waiting too long on the phone, have more choices to go online to our website www.mgsmedicalpractice.nhs.uk and complete Accrux online form and or can call the patient partner number 01902 229788 to book, cancel appointments or for any other queries. If need further help or assistance the reception staff can assist.

Review titled disgrace of a GP practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Pav Sangha - Posted on 29 March 2023
The service is absolutely disgraceful instead of sorting themselves out as a practice they end up blaming the patient and giving out warning letters because the frustration on the patients part is so high they do nothing to help and instead say things like take this appointment or they have nothing else to offer. ask to call 9am every morning until you get an appointment. when you actually call and get an appointment for the surgery which is 45mins away from where I live as no available appointments at the registered surgery which is 5mins away from me even though being no2 caller. Receptionists think they are doctors and become all agitated and offended when asking for an appointment as need to speak to a professional. Easy to send warning letter to patients rather than actually sorting out the problem. Thank you for providing an absolute shambles of a service. should be closing this practice down if you cant sort it out. just look at the reviews people are actually leaving will give you more of an idea what service you are providing to your patients and where things have actually gone downhill for this surgery. been with the surgery since 2006 gone drastically downhill over the last 7/8 years. I dread calling the doctor for any of the medical needs instead try other places before i ring my own family doctor. they have made me feel so upset every time i have tried to speak to them. no sympathy, no solution just giving same instructions to agitated patients who are fed up with the surgery. even when you tell them that due to jobs, health and other important commitments cant be calling up every morning for an appointment all i always get is sorry not our problem that is what you have to do if not its not our issue its yours.
