Review titled Receptionist Needs Customer Service Training
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 October 2024
Australian receptionist was very rude and abrupt to my 17 year old daughter. I asked her to ring up and see if she could see a doctor following flying back from her holidays with sinus pain and earache. She rang and spoke to this receptionist - who didn't even ask for her name or date of birth, she was told that she had 'no chance of seeing a doctor' my daughter asked her if she should ring the following morning she was abruptly told "did you not hear the answer machine message" you have Covid symptoms so no chance of seeing a GP and hung up on her. She's had a bad cold that has affected her sinuses. We rang NHS 111 in the end and spoke to a Doctor in the treatment Centre who referred to a Pharmacist who have treated her for a Sinus Infection. My point being is that my daughter is 17 years old and has only ever rang doctors once before and was spoken to harshly. If the receptionist had checked her age they would have realised she is still under 18, she also did not have Covid. The receptionist seriously needs customer service training in the way she speaks to people, and by all means I am not the only one who has complained.

I waited thinking it would open to alliw us in for our appointment as there was also another person waiting with an appointment at 8:20 The surgery dudnt open till 8:30 at which time i was informed my appointment had been cganged to 9:30 but i hadnt been contacted. We are all busy people but this is something that could with more care &better communication have been avoided. Please look at your processes to see where improvements can be made in relation to issues similar to this

Review titled Unpleasant.
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 19 July 2024
My teenage have been asking to see a female doctor for weeks now and she has been turned down. I had to make the call myself this morning and had to explain to them and even telling them personal and private reasons as professionals but they end up given her a male doctor and she had to cancel the appointment. It is unfortunate that things like this happen and parents have to bear the result of it all. I cannot express how I feel been feeling seeing her reaction everyday because she needs help for a health issue that has been going on for a year now. After weeks of not getting the appointment and I have made a personal call as a parent l do not know what to do, not to say the least. It is unpleasant to be treated this way if l could say. If anything can be done, please someone should help.

Review titled Very rude receptionist
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Ryan - Posted on 16 January 2024
Before I’d even spoken the lady was huffing down the phone, i told her all the information she asked and with everything she replied was in an extremely narky passage aggressive manner and finally she told me to bring my daughter in for an appointment when I could to which I replied her and my partner are at nursery and won’t get there until 18:20 to which her reply was we shut at six there’s nothing we can do then…. Not suggest calling in the morning to get a suitable appointment like I suggested may be I could do. In short an extremely rude woman!
