    It extremely difficult to get an appointment, I could only get appountments with nurses, who I have to say were excellent, very thorough, I am not sure how Ill you have to be to get a Doctor's appt, and if you cannot fill in the request form on line, they make it obvious that you are a nuisance

    Thank you for your comments, I am the new manager at the surgery and will certainly take on board your views. I'm glad that you found the nurses to be excellent and thorough. We continue to review our appointment system, if a patient cannot complete the online form then our receptionists can do this for them over the telephone, I will discuss your feedback with our admin team at our next meeting.     The receptionist was very pleasant and efficient. I was seen by the Doctor on my specified appointment time and he was very good and understood my specific health issues.

    Contacted surgery with query regarding follow up blood tests which was answered quickly and arrangement made for me to attend surgery for bloods to be taken. Quick and efficient in this case. Can see where sometimes online is more suitable but would like to see face to face GP appointments become the norm again where examination required but also like the online consultation process where it is appropriate.

    Thank you for your feedback, I'm the new manager at Millgate and have been in post for 7 weeks. All of our appointments are available face to face however the GP does triage all calls first to ensure appropriateness and then will signpost accordingly making sure the patient is seen by the right clinician.
