    Have been trying to get an appointment for 5 days. If you are lucky you get put onto a waiting list then you are offered a call back then twenty minutes later you are called and told no appointments are available. I cannot remember the last time I actually saw a doctor, I'm talking about years. I am always told call 111 or go to a walk in.

    Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We appreciate it can be difficult to contact us in the mornings. We answer on average 300-400 calls daily. To avoid missing out on our daily allocation of GP appointments we always recommend completing our online form at 8am: https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/p89015 This request goes directly to our on call doctor that morning to be triaged.

    On 11th September (today) I called in to the Ann Street site to get a repeat prescription done urgently. I fully explained my predicament that is, I was taking an impromtu holiday on Thursday for 6 days, but realised I only had 3 days' supply of tablets left. The lady who does the prescriptions took the repeat prescription and went straight away to find someone who could sign it off. She politely explained that even the duty pharmacist wasn't around, but she could get it done for 2pm. As I was leaving, the practice pharmacist arrived and she got him to sign it off there and then so I was able to get my much-needed medication. Once again, I find myself praising this surgery as I feel this was exemplery service and very much went the extra mile. Thank you once again Millgate Medical Partnership for exceeding my expectations.

    Thank you for the amazing service I have received today. Following the submission of an online request form, an appointment was allocated with the GP, all within a few hours. I now have a treatment plan for my symptoms and am more than happy with the outcome. Thank you to all of the team at Millgate.

    Arrived very early for my blood test because I would rather sit in the waiting room than being on the last minute. It's what I do, but never expecting to be seen before my time. However, I was seen well before my appointment and delighted I was. The procedure was explained and what to expect as regarding the result. Within just a few minutes all was completed and I was on my way home. From the clerical officer to the nurse this was a very slick, professional, efficient and friendly service. Well done those people and the practice.

    I went to the surgery just after.9.30ish this morning with a swollen eye due to an insect bite. I have had many bad reactions to insect bites before. After seeing the doctor a course if antibiotics clears it up! The receptionist was dismissive and said go to the eye hospital. To which l tried to explain that if she would look at my records she would see that after having an emergency appointment. I would be given antibiotics. Therefore not requiring to go to the eye hospital.She was not interested in listening to me or looking at my records. On going to the eye hospital l was looked at and given antibiotics. I was unable to drive myself and had to find someone to take me there. No wonder the hospitals are so busy. When on going to the drs you are told to go to the hospital. Fir something that could very easily be treated at the gp's. I am not happy with the way it was handled and after being a patient who hardly goes to the Dr's. I am considering leaving after being a patient for over forty years because other practices are more patient friendly.

    I queried a scan result with one of the relevant GPs at this surgery. I was gobsmacked that the appropriate doctor actually took the time to ring me on my mobile phone and leave a full explanatory message as I thought I'd have to make an appointment. To me, this shows incredible caring and concern and is the level of medical care I've come to expect from this practice in the 30+ years that I've been registered with them. The doctor's voicemail message allayed any concerns I had. Thank you, yet again, for exceeding my expectations.

    Ordered via online system, 4 working days later, still not reviewed, person dealing with it has been on leave. This will be the 4th prescription in a row that has taken around 10 working days to receive. Surprised they are advertising for new patients when they are not servicing current patients. Perhaps current patients are going elsewhere? Hmmm

    Visited the practice for a blood pressure test. The care, attention and efficiency is what you get at this practice on every visit and it was exactly that with todays visit. With the Millgate Practice you know that whatever your reason for being there, the care plan, attention and efficiency is second to none. This gives me great confidence when presenting health issues. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

    Visited the practice to have a blood pressure test. As always the care, attention and efficiency by the staff was there for me. The Millgate Healthcare Partnership provides excellent care and you know the care given to you is the correct course of action. Have been a patient at this practice for many years and would recommend it to anyone.
