  1. Review titled So helpful

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Had phone call from dr today and went through all my medication and what it was all for. She was the nicest dr I have ever spoken to and answered all my questions. I love this drs surgery, they really do care.

  2. Review titled Impossible to be seen

Rated 1 star out of 5

I spent 90 minutes trying to get though to reception to be told there’s no appointments. This is pretty much a daily occurrence and it makes it nigh on impossible to actually see your GP. Said GPs revolve on a monthly basis, I’ve had to go 3 times last year and every time spoke to someone new who didn’t know anything about me and didn’t bother to check my medical notes until I was in the room with them. Their system doesn’t work and needs to be inspected for fault.

  3. Review titled Can never get through on the phone system

Rated 1 star out of 5

Phone system warns it will cut you off if the line is busy. The line is constantly busy, and every attempt to speak to someone is cut off. There is no facility to book routine screening appointments online. Very poor service.

  4. Review titled No point

Rated 1 star out of 5

After being on hold and cut off repeatedly from 8am-9am you will finally get through to be told no appointments and to go to walk in clinic at the hospital…who will not do referrals and send you back to gp, and the cycle repeats, you will be dead before you manage to see a gp with this surgery

  5. Review titled Can't get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Stephanie - Posted on 14 September 2022

I saw a doctor who was unable to help me and recommended I see another doctor, who she named. I tried to book an appointment at reception and was told to phone at 8 in the morning. On 2 occasions, by the time my call was answered (typically about 20 mins later) all appointments for the day were gone. As I work it is not acceptable to take time off work just in case I can get an appointment, which clearly I can't. My condition is not getting any better and 2 weeks later I have still not seen a doctor. I went into the surgery tonight to try to make a pre-bookable appointment and I was told it could not be done as it is then unfair to those who phone up in the morning! Really? What about it being unfair to those who phone at the said time in the morning and still can't get an appointment? I thought health care was supposed to be accessible to all. This used to be a good surgery. While I can't fault the care here when you do see someone, it is getting the appointment that is the problem. I hope that whoever manages the centre policies is reading this; it is not pointing a finger of blame, it is merely pointing out that the systems you are using are not accessible to all and maybe it is time to review them.
