Review titled Left without repeat medication
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Charles Britton - Posted on 06 October 2024
You have to apply for repeat medication on the app.... The app says to contact the Surgery.. You can do that on Patches... I do you keep sending me a link to do it on line where it says contact the surgery... We don't take prescriptions over the phone...???? Circles with a flaw on their system and robotic reception staff

Review titled Terrible practice

Simple steps and task to the GP from Calderdale Royal Hospital. Having to ring and ring and ring and ring for anyone to even come close to knowing what you’re talking about. Better off being in pain and stress than dealing with wombats.

Review titled Not seen a doctor in over 4 years face to face
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 18 May 2023
I find at this surgery unless your are a computer tech or tech minded you stand no chance of getting an appointment. All I wanted was to speak to a doctor or book an appointment like you used to be able to but with the receptionist being power mad all I got was unprofessional service and the call terminated. If you need help I suggest looking elsewhere. This surgery seems more geared towards private clinics than helping the local community despite starting to build a new surgery in mixenden I guess I won't get an appointment there either will be sent to boothtown or anywhere else in Halifax but locally.

Review titled Lack of Communication
Rated 1 star out of 5
by David Noble - Posted on 08 June 2023
Seeking treatment and initial contact was good, blood tests arranged, second blood tests arranged and informed by the nurse that the GP would be in contact to discuss and was also told by the GP they would be back in touch with me for what treatment was needed. One and half months later no contact and on ringing the surgery i was told the results were good but its not surgery practice to ring everyone back, how could we they said. My answer to this is because you have a duty of care to your patients and if you expect them to ring back for results then two senior members of the staff should have said this to me and would have happily complied sooner.
