Saw a dr last week about a breast problem. Really quick and brush off face to face. Disappointing as she was a lady and I was worried about cancer

by Denise Green - Posted on 23 January 2025
The doctor's at this surgery has no regard for people ,show no empathy, very dismissive, treated me like I was a nuisance, had a call back from for one doctor tonight,he had no idea about my ongoing health issues, and told me point blank he could not help me because he did not think I had a problem.said he would read my file and get back to because it was too much to go through tonight.

Review titled Appalling service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Catrina - Posted on 27 November 2024
I seen a HCA which informed me my medication would be sorted on that day.... which never happened even tho my medication had run out. I called reception and all they could say is I have to book yet another appointment to get it sorted which means another 2 days with no medication which is going to be impossible for me to even attend my appointment due to no anxiety medication. I asked reception what am I meant to do in regards to my medication until I can get appointment and all she could sat was go online book an appointment there is nothing she can do over the phone.... They seriously need to sort this booking online only it doesn't help anyone it just adds more stress to an already stressful situation

Review titled Never able to get an appointment
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 August 2024
I have recently been unwell. Called GP surgery at 8:00a.m, stayed in the queue only to be told there were no appointments available. As my symptoms persisted I then called 111, whereby I was told to contact my G.P. Again, I called promptly at 8:00 a.m. waited in the queue and then once again told there were no appointments available. Then they say A and E is for emergencies. No wonder there are queues at the hospital and the people who need the care don't get it!

Dear Patient, I am sorry that when you contacted the surgery you could not be offered an appointment. We are currently experiencing increased demand on our services and only have a limited number of appointments available. Unfortunately we are not able to offer above this limited demand as we must ensure patient safety. Please be assured our clinicians are working to their full capacity and new appointments are available daily. Kind regards Frankie Patient Experience Team

Review titled Horrendous Service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Sonia - Posted on 20 August 2024
I have been trying to get a call back for 2 days now! Yesterday i held my place in the queue waiting for a call back - I received a text saying "we tried to call you, there was no answer, please try again" - Can I just say no-one tried to call me I had my phone in front of me waiting for that call the whole morning. Today I tried again, I called bang on 8am - I got a call back saying there are no call backs today again! The caller was so unbothered by my symptoms and put the phone down on me mid conversation! This is not the first time I have had this bad experience every single time i need to speak to the doctors. The service is so appalling at this surgery, I cannot find the words to describe it. The staff are so rude! The phone line is a joke!

Review titled Automated call back
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I call the surgery 8.04. Due to my job as a practice nurse I was unable to hold on indefinitely, so chose option to hold my place in the queue. 6 hrs later no response. What is the point of having a call back that does hold your place.

Dear Patient I am sorry to see that you have struggled to contact the Practice via the telephone. We are currently experiencing increased demand on our telephone lines, which has resulted in longer wait times. Our patient services team has been working very hard to answer calls under the additional pressure. However, I recognise that difficulties in accessing the Practice can be extremely frustrating for our patients and I apologise unreservedly for any upset or inconvenience. Please be assured that the staff at the Practice are working to their capacity in these challenging circumstances. You can also request an appointment by attending the Practice reception from 8am or using our online option or the NHS app. If you wish to discuss your experience further, please contact me directly using the following link: https://www.modalitypartnership.nhs.uk/contact Kind regards Frankie Patient Experience Team

Review titled Gp’s need to look properly at NHS site
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Ann - Posted on 07 June 2024
I order prescriptions via NHS app and continually no one looks at my prescription order to look for prescriptions that are not regular. No idea why my pain killers are not on the main list and neither are my inhalers. Now I’m in pain and no painkillers. Why have this app and we as patients use it and Gps can’t to the detriment of patients
