    Have been trying for over a week to book an appointment. Since they disabled the econsult service, the only option is to ring and you can never get through. The website takes you round in circles before admitting that there is no access to appointments any way other than the phone (even though there used to be). Same issue happening for my partner who needs a prostate check. Feel stuck, stranded and without any care. To add an even darker note. When you try to book online appointments it heavily pushes you towards paid for services. How can a practice that serves this large a population fail to provide any adequate way to get access to even a phone GP appointment? It's beyond anything I could have imagined in terms of lack of care.

    Dear Patient I am sorry that when you contacted the surgery you could not be offered an appointment. We are currently experiencing increased demand on our services and only have a limited number of appointments available. Please be assured our clinicians are working to their full capacity and new appointments are available daily. We have listened to our patients who have told us that they prefer to speak to a clinician on the telephone or face to face in the surgery. To maximise our ability to speak to patients over the telephone and in face to face appointments we have suspended our eConsult service. This will free up our clinicians and allow them to focus on speaking to patients directly. Although online consultations have been suspended, we can be contacted via the contact section on our website for administrative queries. We do ask that you still contact your Practice via telephone for any appointment or clinical queries. Kind regards Patient Experience Team

    Bellingham Green was much better before the merger with Modality Lewisham when they offered e-consult service. This was more convenient for people who work full time and struggle to ring up or attend the practice in person to make an appointment. Unfortunately this has been removed with no indication of when it will be re-introduced.

    Hubby has angina. His spray was removed from his repeat prescription. At the time the receptionist said to just add the request in the box on the app. We did this last week. The surgery rang twice and we missed the calls as we work nights. Couldn't get through to them at all. Repeat prescription has not included his spray ! We will try again next time but as he doesn't need it often his existing spray will be out of date next month. Can't get appointments and his last repeat prescription was for half his usual amount. Requests for the rest was refused.

  4. Review titled 53 minutes on hold then cut off

    All i want to do is to know how to book a GP appointment these days. Its not urgent but i need to be seen. I held on the phone for 53 minutes waiting for Bellingham Green and was then cut off. What do i do?

  5. Review titled phone problems

    I was on on hold for 1 hour 57 mins then whilst talking the phone cut off. I have called this surgery around 6 times this week for the same thing. I feel really sorry for the staff as there clearly are not enough of them but it is very frustrating.

We are currently experiencing increased demand on our telephone lines and our patient services team has been working very hard to answer calls under the additional pressure. I recognise that difficulties in accessing the Practice can be extremely frustrating for our patients and I apologise unreservedly for any upset or inconvenience.     Hubby ordered his repeat prescription as usual. I went to pick it up as usual but it was for 1 months supply instead of 2. He requested another 28 days prescription stating that his repeat order was wrong and was refused. He requested it again and was refused. This also happened to me when my medication was increased. It dropped from 3 months supply to 2 and I had to ask 3 times before it was put back to 3. Hubby also requested a change of email and mobile number 2 months ago which hasn't been done yet.
