    I rang up to book a future appointment and was told I couldn't, I had to ring on the day, this can't be done I need advance notice to go to appointments, the receptionist said I can't book advance appointments it needs to be done on the day, this is ridiculous I will never get to see the doctor as I can never book on the day, I can never get through on the day anyway so even I I booked a day off to ring the doctor I couldn't guarantee i would get through, I have rang in the past and got a future appointment booked so I don't understand what has changed

    Dear Mr Smith. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I am sorry your experience was negative on this occasion. We do allow appointments to be booked in advance and I am sorry this did not happen on this occasion. We sometimes have appointments available on a Saturday morning or late evening if that is something which may be more convenient for you. You are also able to submit a non-urgent request through our website any time of the day, and this will be dealt with and you will be offered an appointment with the most appropriate clinician/service.     I had a positive visit to the centre. With gp listening and examination carried out and a plan agreed. Left feeling hopeful for the future.

    Attended the practice due to having a continual cough, i was referred to see the Asthma Nurse by GP, the appointment was within the month and i found her very understanding, with a kind and caring manner.

    After recently experiencing a heart attack I had previously had a discussion with a GP about some of the side effects I was having with some of the meds. I had bloods, urine, stool tests and a chest x ray to see what was going on. The Dr specifically told me to book an appointment for a face to face appointment with a Dr. When I tried to do this a receptionist tried to book me an appointment with the practice nurse - when I said this was not what I wanted or needed she became very affronted. I finally got to see a Dr - had to explain everything all over again and didn’t really get the feeling that my concerns were being listened to. For me, it was a disappointing meeting which was unusual as the practice has, in the past been good to me.

    Receptionist fantastic. Dealt with my husband but she took all info on board and very successfully able to point me to the best person. The fact receptionist took time with me and looked after me during waiting time and again as I left the surgery. Such a huge improvement. I felt heard for the first time in years. Please roll out to all staff
