Review titled Shameful
Rated 1 star out of 5

I recently had an urgent colonoscopy. I tried to get the results but was told the doctor had not read them. Why not? I requested that they should read them and get back to me with the results. Sadly, but not unexpectedly, this has not happened to date. This surgery continues to so difficult to see a doctor. E-consults are always closed for the day. Trying to get an appointment on the same day is near impossible. If you work in an environment where you can’t seat and wait on the phone you will never get one. The lack of service since Covid, still a great excuse for them, is mind boggling. Sad to see how far the surgery has fallen. I have been with them 48yrs and it’s the worse it can ever be!

Review titled Awful awful awful

Been a patient here since it opened when I was a child. Have stayed through convenience and ease but so fed up. Being told I am on a call back list and when I call 7 hours later I’m told I was called but no answer —- this has happened 3 times now. “Make an appointment the day your named GP works” unfortunately those aren’t the days I am off so I can’t make an appointment and it has to be daily list e consult which is full by 8am each day. If you do get a space you have to be able to answer you phone at any point in the next 48 hours. If you miss the call the whole debacle starts the next day again This system does not work and this GP surgery constantly lets patients down! What a shame as they used to be amazing! You have to stop blaming Covid now. Those of us working in acute settings have learnt new ways of working which don’t have detrimental effects on our patients

Review titled You cannot speak to anyone!

Never register with this surgery! No-one answers and when you use the automated online system, no-one answers, there is no point. Awful service and it makes you wonder if there are even real people there?

Review titled Terrible surgery
Rated 1 star out of 5

I suffer some complex medical issues to which I need to be reviewed by doctor's. Having completed an eConsult form and checking with the receptionist I was on the call back list, I was told I was not. I spoke to one of the senior partners of the practice but was probably given 4 minutes on the phone and told to speak to my named doctor. Upon waiting for him and made to feel a complete an utter nuisance, despite him having received an letter from the hospital he was not able or willing to offer any real help. I cannot understand why this surgery is still taking on new patients when it cannot offer proper care to the existing patients.

Review titled Absolutely Terrible

Having been to A&E, I was told to arrange a follow up appointment with my GP. Six days later I am still trying! You can't speak to anyone, the e-consult is fully booked by 6am and there is no way to book a routine appointment. Absolutely terrible practice.

Review titled Impossible to see anyone or get a reply
Rated 1 star out of 5

You can never get an appointment to see anyone face to face it's always over the phone and when you try to do it that way you can't get through to anyone because by 9am the econsult is full and you can't see anyone. Try and leave a message and it never gets answered. And doesn't matter if you phone or go in person you'll get directed to bloody econsult. An absolute joke.

Called the practice and get automated message saying go use eConsult, use eConsult and they say they have "reached their capacity" (by 10am!) and to go use 111, use 111 online and they say contact GP. Not sure where I go from here!

Been trying since December to get a face2face appointment with a Dr as have a lump which has changed in my neck, trying calling the surgery no option to speak to anyone, just an automated message saying appointments fully booked. Can't even do an econsult as constantly booked. Also I was prescribed an different antidepressant back in August which hasn't been put on prescription so had to go back to my old ones which don't work!!!!

Review titled Thank you
Rated 4 stars out of 5

I found a small lump, which is always a concern. I contacted my doctor via the self assessment and the speed and diligent way that I was handled was absolutely fantastic. Bloods taken, scan done within a week. Thankfully nothing to be over concerned about, but my doctor was absolutely fantastic. Thank you

Review titled Pitiful Practice

Unable to book an appointment, if you call the surgery you get a recorded voicemail telling you to call back the next day or use the online 'e-consultation' process. When attempting to access the online booking system, it's constantly locked and 'fully booked'. As an Armed Forces Veteran, I've contacted Combat Stress with regards to a mental health issue and told to contact my GP, at this I simply laughed. Staff state it's due to 'staffing shortages', yet this has been the case since April 2020, a surgery that doesn't want to speak to their patients. No wonder everybody goes to A & E when they can't access routine medical care.
