Had an appointment with a nurse for my 3 yearly. She was calm patient and explained things like they had never been explained before. A complete asset to the practice. The surgery has always been amazing at helping me whenever I need the help. Call backs and econsults work so well. Can’t thank you all enough!

Moordown medical has to be the best GP surgery in Dorset . The service , call backs are so prompt and extremely efficient . I would like to express special thanks to the receptionist this morning ( 09/04/2024) sorry i can;t mention your name. She went above and beyond her duty with care and empathy to myself when trying to organise a Gyn appointment for me. All the staff are amazing , friendly and very professional , i can't rate this surgery highly enough . They get it right , other surgeries should take note and follow by their example . Well done Moordown Medical .

I have been with Moordown Medical centre for 22 years and have had the best care from the Doctors and Nurses for my 2 Girls and myself, and even after the pandemic when everything changed, they have made it all about patient care and getting appointments either by phone call or face to face easy, I have recently moved and am no longer on thier catchment area, which is deeply upsetting for me to have to move to another surgery, I have dealt with many GP surgeries in both my professional life and my personal life,and Moordown medical centre by far are the best, I cannot thank the Doctors, Nurse’s and receptionist staff for looking after my family and me for all those years.

The whole family have been with the surgery for 5 years and have never had a bad experience. I am always amazed at how quickly the phones are answered and how quickly appointments or triages are arranged. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful. The GPs and nurses are phenomenal, knowledgeable, empathetic and thorough. Often use the E-consult facility and always have prompt and clear responses and plans. Referrals have always been completely med very quickly and appropriately. Cannot fault anything about this GP surgery. Thank you!
