    What has happened to moss grove surgery? It used to be a great surgery. Phone lines are always busy and the online forms can only be done in a morning. Half the time the doctor forgets to give the option to respond to their message which means you have to go through all the questions on the online form again and that's only if the website is open.

    Hello We at moss grove Surgery are really sorry you have such an experience trying to contact us. Demand has doubled over the last 2 years, but our recourses have not. We monitor access weekly. In the last 2 years we have employed 5 new admin staff and 7 new clinical staff, however demand is vast and that's why the website has to shut early or that you have to wait for a long time on the phones.     Thank you Mr Wilson for taking the time to comment and for your positive words. On a Tuesday evening we are open to 8.30pm.     Hi. I run a shop so wanted to ask a question of the Doctor outside of shop hours and because it wasn't urgent and I couldn't phone the surgery during shop hours. (It was the Queens Funeral) Found your website access is closed, Why ? the whole idea of web site is that you Can access outside of normal opening hours. !!! Patients should be able to request help especially out of hours, knowing that their contact will be looked at when the surgery is open again !!! Get It Sorted & Accessible to patients All of the time !

    Dear anonymous, we are unable to 'get it sorted' as you have suggested. We are not a 24 hour a day 7 day a week service. The NHS has alternative services for patients who need help outside of our opening times. We have limited resources, as does all NHS services and so we have to limit the time our website is open. Pre covid Moss Grove Surgery had 2000 contacts a week and now demand has risen to 4500 contacts a week. We are unable to have our website open continuously and so to keep all patients safe we have to limit the time it is open for interactive contact. Deena Woodhall Practice Manager Moss Grove Surgery

    Requested a further prescription on line. Was out of town, so was offered a phone call discussion with Dr. the same afternoon. Script sent to local Pharmacy where I was staying. Great service .thank you

    I booked an e-mail appointment. Said I could only state One problem so I did but also mentioned a second worry to the doctor who gave me the necessary receptacle for sample to be processed. I took it into the practice reception the same day. Receptionist said samples had been collected but she asked a nurse if ok and the nurse said yes it would be put in fridge til next day collection. I did mention I was happy to do over and bring in the next day but the nurse assured me no need. I hadn’t heard in a week so telephone doctors - spent ages getting through. The receptionist said the sample had to be repeated! I asked why they hadn’t contacted me and told me. She said it was up to me?! I didn’t know it had to be repeated?! I feel this practice doesn’t care and we are just ‘numbers’. I work so haven’t managed to collect new receptacle yet and my husband has Parkinson’s so he isn’t able to help.
