Review titled Fantastic care, attention and consideration
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Christopher Tidy - Posted on 29 November 2024
I want to express my sincere gratitude for the excellent care I received from the staff, doctor, and clinical pharmacist at Moulton Medical Centre during my recent illness with pneumonia and pleurisy. From the initial diagnosis to the ongoing treatment, I was impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, and compassion demonstrated by everyone involved. The staff were always available to answer my questions and concerns, and they provided clear and concise explanations about my condition and treatment plan. The doctor's expertise and prompt diagnosis were crucial in ensuring my timely recovery. The clinical pharmacist's guidance on medication management was also invaluable. I am truly grateful for the care I received at Moulton Medical Centre. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking quality medical care.

Review titled Help yourself is the best option
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Antony Brown - Posted on 03 May 2024
Been battling to get some help for ages - finally force the doctors into getting a X-ray where it was found I am rotated at hip. Told to make appointment to discuss X-ray - attend physio who was totally useless and said list for physio is 18 months - go help yourself. Absolute rubbish Fuming.

Review titled Horrible - Never Again.
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Denrob - Posted on 10 July 2024
Left me in agony with shingles preferring instead to send me to a&e who promptly sent me back to the gp. Once again the gp sent me back to a&e. Perfectly treatable condition by a gp at the time yet they left me for three days in "agony" rather than treat. I finally received treatment from an out of hours gp service. When this and other notices were brought to their attention I was sent a letter stating I had 30 days to find an alternative surgery. I still have that letter. Now I am at a practice who treats as I present and they are fantastic. Best thing ever was finding a good and caring general practitioner who is especially competent, understanding and especially kind. Never again...

Review titled still waiting
Rated 1 star out of 5

I avoid trying to see a doctor because since several retirements, the new docs have given my cancer victim husband quite appalling service. After reading nhs website it advises me to see a doctor on my symptoms, That was monday, now wed why oh why we have to tell a receptionist what the problem is I cannot comprehend...what happened to doc/patient confidentiality! anyway I politely complied and assured a doc would ring that morning. Now I am full time carer for husband, but missed the cal by 2 mins several hours later, in the next room it didnt even ring! Rang and was put back on the "bottom" of the list. its three days later and still waiting for the call! As a carer I cant wait ages for them to answer the phone, nor sit waiting for non existant calls....all I want is personal advice in case I am seriously ill. I remember a while back getting a thank you letter for being a carer how important that is to the surgery and priority service...never received that yet! This surgery thinks we are their to support them not a service to the public. I keep getting vaccination request messages though! Wish I could change surgeries but no one else takes in our area and in the current crisis is there any hope anywhere!

Review titled Disgusting service/practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

NHS are a free service, so expectations are low. This practise spectacularly fails to meet them. Mix behind the times, with rude ignorant and unhelpful staff. They won't use electronic prescriptions, so they require a supply of stamped addressed envelopes to use an online pharmacy. All but forcing most to use their in house pharmacy and make trips to collect medications. Not all patients will be able to arrange this in a timely fashion every month.
