Last week I went in to the surgery as I could not get through on the 'phone. I needed urgent (but not emergency) medical assistance. Since being taken over by the Mendip Vale business model, it has become almost impossible to access a GP let alone urgent care. It seems that only those with long term treatment options are ever seen. Against my principles, I had to foist myself on the local A&E in order to get a GP appointment. Patient care at Monks Park Surgery used to be excellent, however, it is now a disgrace to those who run it. I only hope I can find a more caring surgery in the future.

I had a very bad cancer diagnosis and nobody at Monk's Park surgery, where I am a registered patient, seems remotely interested in helping me e.g. GPs writing prescriptions my Oncologist has already given to me - I am asking to switch GPs but don't hold much hope!

My husband rang the surgery at 8.30am for a telephone appointment. He only had to wait a couple of minutes. Appointment booked for 9.30am . Great service. Thank you

Been on the phone for nearly half-hour after the opening time for my son who has developed a worrying skin condition just to get told there are no appointments and the doctor can't phone me either no advice no nothing this surgery is a disgrace avoid at all costs
