In for a blood sample to be taken, with a change to the date to an earlier appointment as a result of a possible problem. The possibility of a chesty cough and having recently recovered from shingles was going to make the sample of no use was discussed and it was decided that an earlier date would be OK to attend.

I had a telephone appointment call with the pharmacist today. She was extremely professional and helped me understand my bone density results and prescribed supplements to help with the condition. She had a lovely manner and it was helpful to have that call rather than wait to speak to a doctor

Team on appointment line really helpful in finding me a last minute appointment for a nurse. I had forgotten to book for a b12 which I require frequently and even though next appointment was 4 weeks away they really tried hard to fit me in despite it being my error. Thank you!

I saw one of our Doctors earlier this month about a particular problem The doctor who I saw put me completely at ease over the issue I had & left the Practice. Feeling so much better Thank you.

The diligence and care I received from my appointment at 4.45 on 20th Feb has been excellent. The doctor was the GP on call on 20/2/2025 when I came in with a suspected blocked gallstone. She was thorough and worked hard to ensure I got an emergency blood test the next day, a Friday. That night I had a call from Out of hours doctor, with the blood results and who was excellent too. The issue was dealt with as although jaundice had set in, the stone shifted. This morning the same doctor who has been at the practice 10 months called as a check in which was very impressive. She was an efficient, caring, personable and professional. The most recent appointments I have had with my last few appointments as well as this recent one have been very good. The reception provision has also improved in efficiency and professionalism too. Thank you, I know running a practice is difficult in this climate.

I attempted to make an appointment from 8.00am on Thursday morning and it was not until Friday mid morning that I was finally able to speak to a human being and make said appointment.. To have 8 people ‘queuing’ to speak to a receptionist is beyond a joke. Why not invest in extra phone lines as other GP practices do?

Contacted Heswall and Pensby Group Practice by patches this morning at about 07.15. Received a phone call at about 09.00 offering an appointment with Dr X at 15.30 this afternoon. Saw Dr X at 15.30, no delay in appointment time. Well done the NHS, well done Heswall and Pensby Group Practice, and well done Dr X. It is easy to be critical of the NHS but in this case all participants were First Class. You all have my respect and appreciation.

I’ve had excellent experience with the nurses giving blood and with my Doctor via a phone call and a person appointment, which was efficient but not rushed time was given to my problem and future health Thank you
