I had an extremely frustrating experience with this surgery. I have been suffering from a condition for around 3 weeks. And this particular condition has been coming back quite frequently for the last one year. I had a phone consultation with another Dr. who gave me a medication but also suggested I do a physical check-up with a Dr. So I went to see a Dr. physically. When I started telling the attending doctor my history and symptoms, the Dr. seemed very unwilling to listen. The Dr. looked into the record, checked my temperature and blood pressure and instantly came to a verdict. However, when I told her it's been happening for 3 weeks, the Dr.'s verdict changed, which made me anxious and I was trying to understand the condition better. But the Dr. seemed quite reluctant to listen to me or answer any questions that I had. And offered me to come back if the condition comes back. Since this condition has been occurring quite frequently for the last one year, It seemed the Dr. didn't listen to anything that I said. I asked if she can give me any game plan for future- which she declined. I understand not pre-empting without a proof, but a sympathetic attitude might have eased me up a little. The other reason why I was trying to get a possible game plan is for the last 3 years it was extremely difficult to get a face to face or even a phone appointment in this area, due to this surgery being closed. Which the Dr. seemed to be totally unaware of. In the middle of this conversation she 'walked me' out of her room and told the reception stuff about the appointment situation and they all laughed at me saying there is no delay in appointments. Very confused, I asked since when this got better, because I know from past experience the reception stuff went through similar frustration as the patients for quite some time regarding appointments. They mentioned from 'September' it got better. As, it's just the beginning of October an informed answer mentioning that timeline since when things got better again would have been much helpful than laughing at me! The entire experience was so bizarre and lacking any empathy that despite having enormous respect for Doctors and what they do, I am forced to leave this review.
