  1. Review titled Long waiting times

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 05 August 2024

Please note if they give you an face to face Appointment expect to be seen after 45 minutes. If you been given a time it is gp duty to offer at least 10 min delay not 45 minute. People have commitments and simply cannot be waiting these awful long waiting times.

  3. Review titled Nurse at Neasden Medical centre

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I had a smear test today and I was very anxious about having it as this was my first time. This new nurse in the surgery put me at ease and was absolutely wonderful. She was patient with me and very understanding. She took the sample very gently and quickly. I was dreading having this test done, but the way it was done and who does it certainly makes a difference. To all the women frightened to have a smear test as I was, Neasden surgery has one of the best nurse.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback of your experience that you have had with our service. Having a regular cervical smear test is extremely important as this can detect any abnormalities sooner rather than later and provide beneficial treatments if necessary. However, We do understand and value that this procedure can be slightly uncomfortable but We are very glad to hear that the appointment went smoothly for you and you were able to go through with the procedure with ease. This feedback is appreciated and has been passed onto our staff who are very grateful to hear such a warming review. Many thanks, Neasden and Greenhill Park Medical Centre Team

  4. Review titled Lovely nurse

Rated 4 stars out of 5

    by Mercy M - Posted on 19 December 2023

Went in for routine smear test and in the past has always been a very uncomfortable procedure. However the new nurse made me feel very comfortable and the procedure was completed in no time much to my surprise, I barely felt a thing. Even when taking blood this too was done carefully and with care.

  5. Review titled Touching Care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I want to express my deepest gratitude and admiration for the incredible team of women at the Neasden Medical Centre. Today, I witnessed an act of kindness that truly touched my heart and reminded me of the immense power of compassion. There was an elderly patient who had no one to rely on, and he needed urgent medical attention. The dedicated and caring girls at the medical centre not only followed the doctor's orders to send him to the A & E, but they went above and beyond to ensure his well-being. They organised a cab, gently assisted him into the vehicle, and ensured he was comfortably seated. They treated him as if he were a part of their own family, showing him the love and care he deserved. At that moment, I could see the gratitude and relief in the patient's eyes as he was overwhelmed by their genuine concern and started crying. As the cab pulled away, carrying the patient to the hospital, these extraordinary women, who had remained strong and composed throughout the ordeal, couldn't hold back their own emotions any longer. They, too, were moved to tears. It was a beautiful reminder that being professional with patients doesn't mean abandoning our humanity; it means embracing it wholeheartedly. In a world where busy schedules and impersonal interactions have become the norm, witnessing this display of empathy and selflessness was truly heartwarming. The Neasden Medical Centre girls exemplify the true meaning of healthcare, where healing goes beyond just physical treatment. To all the amazing women at the Neasden Medical Centre, thank you. Thank you for your unwavering dedication to your patients, for going the extra mile, and for treating each person with the love and compassion they deserve. Your actions have left an indelible mark on my heart, reminding me of the incredible impact that a single act of kindness can have.

  6. Review titled Disappointing experience

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 26 December 2022

This surgery has gone downhill. They will not give face to face appointments when you first call them. If you are lucky, they may see you afterwards. I developed painful boils on my face earlier this week. I called in and was only offered an evening telephone appointment with one of the permanent doctors on Tuesday 20 December. Of course, the doctor could not see my condition over the telephone and instantly diagnosed it as cold sores. The medicines prescribed (Aclovir tablets) have not been working (and this is even on the third day of taking them). My condition was deteriorating. Only when I saw the receptionists on the afternoon of Thursday 22 December were they kind enough to suggest I call at 8am on Friday 23 December and provided a face to face appointment with one of the locum doctors. The locum doctor was very nice. I need to provide a urine sample. In the meantime, the locum doctor said my condition is likely impetigo. This is very different to cold sores. The reason for the reluctance to see patients is apparently Coronavirus, but nobody at this surgery wears masks and people come and go. So, why are the GPs not seeing patients at this busy time of year???
