  1. Review titled Awful practice

by Anonymous - Posted on 12 April 2024

I’ve been dealing with Neetside Surgery since 2023 and almost every experience is awful. The only time you can call for an appointment is either 830am or 2pm and it has to be for that day. The reception staff are extremely unfriendly and rude. That’s if you’re lucky to even be acknowledged. I showed up for my appointment one time and waited 5 mins at the front desk before the receptionist looked up. All she said was “Do you need me?” There was no”hello”, “how can I help you?” Or even a smile! Every interaction that I have with the receptionists is the same. Depending on what doctor/nurse you’re able to get that day, they are either pleasant or unhelpful. I took my 2 year old in today as she’s started having hysterical episodes at night that can last up to an hour. She hits her head so hard that sometimes she falls forward. I’m at my wits end trying to help her. All I got from the nurse today was “I don’t know what you want me to do for you, short of me taking her home with me for you.” She also suggested I put her in a different bedroom than mine after I had explained we are in a one bedroom apartment. As someone who has lived in 2 different countries and been to a few different doctors offices, this is by far the worst. If I had a car I would travel to further towns just to avoid Neetside Surgery in Bude.

  2. Review titled Awful surgery

by Shane Kavanagh - Posted on 12 April 2024

I have extreme pain down my left side, arm, shoulder and chest so I went to the doctors at Neetside surgery in Bude, I went to see the first doctor who didn't tell me anything except I have to see another doctor, so I made another appointment and saw another doctor one week later, he sent me for emergency x=Ray at Stratton hospital and prescribed tablets that I never got as I heard nothing. Went to x=Ray a week later and had that. That was 7 weeks ago, it has worsened a lot so I've been trying to get my results so I know what's wrong and can try and sort it, however, I was told by Stratton hospital that my doctor will give me my results, I have been trying to get them buy I can't. I rang and the receptionist told me that I won't get results unless there is something abnormal, I tried in vain to explain that I have to have results cause there is something wrong, they said that I was shouting and they will hang up, I was a little rude but I'm in agony, I'm really struggling to move, I cannot work, I can't drive or even walk anywhere with huge chest pain. If anything happens to me it's their fault. I am stuck at home on my bed and can't find out what is wrong with me. So I had 3 appointments all for nothing. I am going to have to go to A and E and see what is wrong with me. I am so upset by this, surely they have to tell me what's wrong? I rarely go to doctors, only when I really have to but what's the point. Don't use this surgery, awful. It's just so wrong, I can't live like this.
