    I phoned at 830 and was phoned back at 9 and told I am on the list for a same day consultation. At 1745 nobody has phoned me back and when I phoned the practice again they had no record of my earlier call. Not great patient care and very hard to get an appointment with the flawed booking system as there is no reference and you can be dropped from the list without consultation.

    Any time I've contacted the Nelson, including this morning, I've been called back same day by a GP, given a face-to-face appointment if necessary, treated with respect and given any appropriate tests. I'm really grateful I'm registered with this practice.

    I do not think that I am alone in saying that, holding the line for one hour, waiting for someone to answer the call, when you need to speak to someone urgently, is absolutely unacceptable and highly frustrating. This has been going on forever and a day. Why can't the practice sort their telephone/answering system sorted out once and for all? We are talking people's health here, people in need of medical attention. vn
