   I am 86 with serious health problems my wife is 87 suffering with Alzheimer's we are house bound but with difficulty have to attend surgery to see a Doctor we can't get a same day appointment I rang for an appointment on the 1st February 24 because of painfull leg and feet and could not get a same day appointment and have to wait until 29th Feb 24 to see a doctor and impossible to see doctor of choice, I now feel along with my wife that it is futile phoning for a same day appointment. The receptionists are courteous but it seems you have to convince them first of your medical problem to have a chance of achieving a same day appointment I could be wrong but that is the way it seems.
