Review titled Abysmal service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Andrea - Posted on 27 December 2024
This practice is beyond ridiculous. After today I will be changing to another GP practice. There have been numerous instances of me calling at 8am as instructed and despite being one of the first 3 people in line I never get an appointment. The reason being, they have 2 phone lines but only 1 person handling the phones, Therefore I get to number 1 and i am left on hold for over an hour with no one answering the call. I even turned up to the surgery whilst still at position 1 for an hours and watched as the receptionist chatted with colleagues. When I challenged her about being on the call still waiting and put the phone on speaker, her response was "All appointments are gone, its just myself answering the calls." Today 27th December 2024 was the third day that this has happened. I had called the practice on 2 separate lines (1 at no.1 and the other at no.4) I have screenshot and recorded just how long I have been position number 1, awaiting someone to answer. After waiting an hour on one line and 35 mins on the other all lines went dead. I am assuming the practice cut off all calls. When I called back I was number 11. Its is disgraceful the service or lack thereof this surgery provides.

Dear Andrea, Thank you for leaving your feedback and we are sorry that you are struggling to get appointments. Unfortunately this is a National Issue and all GP practices are struggling under the aftermath of the Pandemic. We are currently working at new ways to help patients get an appointment or to be signposted to other services that may be able to help you if no appointments are available. If you wish to discuss this further please make an appointment with the Practice Manager.

Review titled Horrible service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Adrian Robaszkiewicz - Posted on 12 February 2024
This is probably the worst service I've ever dealt with. This place is the epitome of this failing system and its lack of functionality. You call at 8:01 and the automated system already says there are no slots available. If you manage to get through because the receptionist happens to pick up the phone between bites of a cookie and sips of tea, she'll still tell you there are no slots. I was 6th in line. And there are no slots? There must be at least 3 doctors working there, right? 30 minutes per appointment? 1 hour of work for the doctor today? This is an absolute joke.

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with our service. Should you wish to discuss if further please contact the Practice Manager who would be happy to discuss your complaint in detail. However, just to keep you informed we are a small Surgery with 1 GP on a day, not 3 GP's as originally stated in your review. Many Thanks.

Review titled Unable to get appointments
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Laura Smith - Posted on 24 May 2023
Recurrently unable to get appointment to see the gp. Call at opening time and lines are at capacity. Within 10 minutes, all appointments are gone and you cannot book for non urgent appointments throughout the week. Advertising that they are accepting new patients but cannot meet the needs of the patients they currently have.
