    Have had several negative experiences with this practice. Were reluctant to help advise me about a misdiagnosis on my records, took 4 years to believe a problem I had, seemed to get frustrated with me for trying to get help for a serious condition. Struggling to trust GPs now unfortunately.

    I cannot recommend this doctors surgery enough, the reception staff are friendly and helpful. I came with a problem that can be often ignored as I am a woman and one of the GPs (won’t be giving names but is also a woman) made me feel so seen and like I wasn’t crazy. She offered so much support and I felt so seen - they are a credit to the nhs and their profession.

    I recently moved into the neighborhood, but I have having a particular medical condition causing me pain on my butt, so I decided to go to the surgery, but the dr I met seemed confused as what the condition could be and stated that my condition will be related to a dermatologist & i will be gotten back to shortly (probably couple of days) I waited for over a month but no response whatsoever, I had to go again by June , met with another dr and it was still stated that it was seen in my record that I already complained about the condition, but I need to relax as I will be contacted by dermatologist as soon as possible. but till this moment of me typing, I am yet to receive any response from a dermatologist whatsoever. Feels like forever & I need to continue dealing with my condition for the rest of God knws when. Too bad. I am not happy about the services at all & I have been praying not to have a more serious condition that will require me or my family to go there again.

    Dear Anonymous Thank you for your review. It is a shame for us us to receive a 1 star review for something which is entirely out of our control. Sadly referrals to Dermatology currently have a very long waiting time but the Practice cannot do anything about hospital waiting times. We would love to help you further but we are not specialists in skin conditions or suitable treatment hence why you need to see a consultant who specialises in that area.     was on 'hold' for ages then automated service said '1 in the que' it was then literally just ringing and ringing for ages, for the line to just completely go 'dead'. I then tried ringing back and automated voice thing said '9th in que' . It is definitely safe to say I am not happy at all. this is not the first time this has happened. Only wanted to double check an appointment for my little girl. Seriously considering changing surgery.

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. We have received two further reports of problems with the telephone system which are currently under investigation by our system provider. We apologise for any inconvenience and hope the matter will be resolved soon. Alternatively we do offer online services that allows you to book, cancel and check appointments at the surgery. If your child is under the age of 13 she can be linked to your online account. To register for this service we would require you to attend the surgery with two forms of ID for yourself (including one photo ID) and if possible a photo ID for the child, or a birth certificate.     My GP great, most of reception staff great, but the odd 1 or 2 I feel blocking me from getting help/access to my GP taking gate keeping to the extreme I feel which one day could come back to bite, as no matter what I said would not have made a difference I was not going to get help particularly on a Friday, that's why I'm writing this at 4.30 am ps I'm quite assertive too I hate to think about someone who is not!

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately due to unexpected sickness and unprecedented patient demand, the practice was forced to report Black Alert for GP access that week and could only deal with medical emergencies. Our receptionists were forced to take the difficult position of having to turn patient's away for routine and non-urgent matters. We are sorry that you were unable to access a GP that day and found our receptionists 'gate keeping to the extreme' however they were playing an essential part in ensuring the safety of both our staff and our patients that week. They were in the firing line and suffered many abusive comments but coped extremely well under such demanding and difficult times.     Reception and Administration staff are very friendly and helpful. They work extremely hard and remain professional during very pressured times for GP Practices. I had no problems booking my appointment and was seen on the same day for respiratory problems. The GP I had my consultation with was approachable, friendly and reassuring. I feel very fortunate to be registered at Newbold Surgery.

    Lovely surgery who are always helpful when you call for appointments or queries. Had an extremely useful athma review with one of their nurses today and felt listened to and reassured. Would definitely recommend the surgery to anyone moving to the area

    I want to say a big thank you because I've been so happy since I moved to your surgery. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful, in person and on the phone, it was a very noticeable change from my previous practice. The doctors and nurses are all so lovely and I am always impressed by the quality of service and care I get. So, thank you to all of you.
