  1. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

We have been with this surgery for years and my daughters and I have always been able to get appointments when needed especially with more urgent requests. We have seen three different doctors over the years. All are thorough and take time to listen to the patient history and will refer when needed. I could not fault them. Today I was called to see if I could bring my appointment forward from next week as they had a cancellation. They clearly manage their waiting list very well and are a very organised practice. Also the receptionist this afternoon was so attentive and very accommodating. Brilliant practice all round!!

Dear Patient Thank you so much for your positive feedback. We will pass on your comments to our Reception team. They try very hard to accommodate our patients; and comments like this are great for morale. Thank you for taking the time to comment. Kind regards Practice Manager

  2. Review titled absolutely disgusting

Tried to register my new born son who's in intensive care atm to this surgery as my partner is already registered here. I was told that we can't register becuase we no longer in there boundary. And my partner has to register some where else, she has on going problems after pregnancy and needs to see a Dr. All our up coming apointments were cancelled with in 5 minutes of leaving the surgery. Then followed by a condescending phone call from the receptionist who instigated the who ordeal, stating it is extremely important that we find a GP.

Unfortunately the surgery has a strict policy for removing patients that have moved out of our area. As the receptionist explained, you still have 30 days when you can use the surgery facilities and appointments so that you are not left without access to health care whilst you look for a new surgery to join in the area that you have moved to.The only appointment that will have been cancelled is the 6 week check that we booked as you will be over the 30 days when you will no longer be a patient. Most practices now allow registration of new patients via their NHS website which should make it easier for you if you are struggling to get to a new surgery in person. We wish you all the best in your new house and hope that the baby is home safe and well soon.
