    I visited the practice in the last two days and saw two different nurses and the care and attention I received was excellent from both of them. I came away feeling reassured with the diagnosis & advice I was given. thank you both very much.

    I had to ring gp to tell them that 111 sent a urgent appointment for them to be very rude on the phone when I'm very enotionaly state to try get my boy seen for the receptionist to be dam right rude

    Good Morning. I cannot respond to this post in detail as it is anonymous. I would like to add that our team do the utmost to signpost patients as necessary and according to clinical need. 111 can also book directly into our system if they feel an appointment is necessary.     Excellent service received in February . From my initial telephone call to the doctors surgery for an appointment which I got on the same day to a hospital referral which led to scans and a consultant appointment for my results all happening within 8 days. Excellent service from the NHS.

    I have tried to find out my allocated doctor. On 9 Jan I was told I would get a response in 2 days but no response has been received.

    Shame the reception staff don't listen to you. When your on the phone to them a little bit more compassion, understanding and listening would help instead of I have put it through for you making me out to be thick when I asked for a telephone call with a doctor. Glad you can book online. Don't like the fact you have to tell the receptionist what's wrong with you when they are not a doctor.

    Thank you for your feedback. Our staff do their utmost to be understanding and empathetic in every situation and I apologise if we have fallen short in this instance. I will pass your feedback to our Care Navigation Manager. Our staff are required to ask specific questions when booking an appointment to ensure that you are signposted to the correct clinician otherwise this could potentially be an unnecessary appointment for you. We have Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Pharmacists, Nurses and Wellbeing staff with specialist skills within the Practice therefore it may be more beneficial for you to have a consultation with one of these clinicians rather than with a GP.     I recently had an appointment with a new Doctor. Her care was exemplary, she took time to explain various things to me and I was reassured by the consultation. She sorted out several follow on things and further appointments were sent to me. I hope very much that she stays with the surgery as she is an absolute asset to it.

    After various appointments with several doctors, via 3 different surgeries, I eventually met the senior nurse at Newhall, who had so much time for me and got to the bottom of my ongoing medical issues after months of toing and frowing. Her concern was welcomed and her diagnosis was spot on, and then and only then my health started to improve. I cannot thank her enough for her time and understanding.

    I have been with this surgery for 3 years and it's nothing but a struggle to be heard or get past the argumentative receptionist. Today I rang for a urine test for suspected uti.. I used self catheterization and therefore samples should be provided asap to ensure sepsis doesn't occur. The receptionist told me no appointments, so I kindly asked what to do, explained the hospital have told me this is the procedure and she only wanted to argue that she hadn't said she can't help, but that I need to ring her 111 or the hospital as she had no appointments but this didn't mean she couldn't help. I'm uncomfortable and confused but didn't need an argumentative receptionist to make matters worse.
