    No real concern for patients health. I was withheld a medication review for an over month to do a basic blood test. Nurse was great but receptionists are very argumentative and aggressive about insulin which is vital to me being alive. Finally did blood test and was unable to receive a time for appointment for medication review. Missed the call from the medication review and was told had to rebook to speak to them and that they reviewed my medication as I was already seeing the diabetic specialist in burton, so wasted there own time and my time by playing this game which could have resulted in death or coma if I hadn’t asked the surgery in person to order insulin and that was wrong multiple times. Very poor service and I don’t think they realised that they are dealing with patients who are trying to survive through their poor service. Couldn’t make a complaint over the phone and only written. Needs serious changes as I didn’t even see the gp.

    Had to have an examination and blood test, which led to have some other tests done very quickly, and could not fault my surgery or the hospitals that I attended. All relevant departments of the surgery and hospitals of which I went to was very professional and made me feel relaxed when undergoing different scans and tests. The nurses, doctors and the consultants was very helpful,and very professional, made you feel at ease.

    Cannot fault even after being registered at Newhall Surgery for a number of years. From help from reception. Doctors are very good. The one I saw today was brilliant. My wife came with me and was very impressed. Nothing was to much trouble. Very reassuring even when we know the waiting room is full. The Pharmacist has also been brilliant. Thank you, The Nurse also always cheerful. You won't please everyone. Myself and my wife are extremely grateful for the ongoing support we received. Appreciated.

    Newhall Surgery go above and beyond for their patients. The GPs are kind, caring and have patient care at the heart of all they do. The reception staff are friendly, helpful and always try to support wherever they can with a smile on their face. I would 100% recommend this GP Surgery to anyone and will always stay loyal to this practice.

    Twice I have contacted Newhall Surgery to help when other health providers and not been able to help or not known how to help. On both occasions I have got straight through on the telephone to a practice manager who has known exactly what to do and has provided additional support so very quickly. I only wish all GP surgeries were such helpful, knowledgeable, efficient problem solvers

    Please reply! The overall experience can be summerised as a simple request for a private service that has now turned into an ongoing half-year long hassle. I requested some private work done back 7 July 2023 that I would have needed for an event coming up later in August. I paid £35 for this and was told I was going to be contacted upon completion. Apparently the timeframe to complete such request is 28 working days. I did not know this nor was I told this when I was told I was going to be contacted. Not being aware of this timeframe I personally walked down to enquire about the state of my request and was told it was already completed it just needs a signature. Fair enough, still within 28 days. The date (14 August) for my event came and I was not contacted at all in any shape or form as to where my document is . I was meant to take this physical document with me that day to sort this official business out and I had to go empty handed. Almost two months after my initial request (31 August) and no document, I didn't need this doc anymore so I asked for a refund and a "case" was opened on the matter. I even gave my email address for a second point of contact and was told once again, I will be contacted shortly. Well, comes my next personal visit 18 September only to be told the same thing that this needs to be deliberated with management and that I will be contacted shortly. This never happened. I last visited in person regarding by refund on 2 February and was told by the receptionist I will 'probably' receive and email that same day. This didn't happen. I received and email 9 Feb to be told that unfortunately they cannot refund my money as they have completed my request 25 July and my refund was requested 31 August. They never got back to me on that date at all and was continued to be made a fool of by being made to walk down regularly to the office and ask about my money. My requested document was completed within the 28 day time frame but my service certainly wasn't as I never received it nor was I notified of it's completion within their own official timeframe. I guess the only positive is that the staff have been friendly and respectful throughout.

    I have yearly review for Diabetes and Angina, I can have the appointment at a time to suit my needs and the nurses, phlebotomist and pharmacist are friendly and helpful. I rarely have the need to see a doctor but if there is an issue a doctor rings at an agreed day

    Recently contacted the surgey for help. Initially spoke to the reception staff who advised a telephone consultation with the doctor . He rang me within a few hours and recommended that I should attend the surgery to discuss my problem. This was arranged and Doctor listened and then explained what he thought the problem was but decided to arrange for x rays which was arranged within a matter of days. The doctor at the practice that I saw was absolutely amazing. Very thorough and very caring. Totally recommend this practice as my experience was absolutely brilliant from beginning to where I am now .

    Google reviews give a really good insight to the quality of this practice. 1. Trying to get through on the phone is near impossible no matter what time of day you call. 2. You might get lucky with a good receptionist, but from my experience that's an extremely rare occurrence. 3. Appointments - well you can guess how hard these are to obtain. Today I've been on hold twice for over 40 minutes (30.03.2023) and neither call was answered.

    I found all the staff extremely helpful I requested to see someone that day and after a short conversation I was able to have a face to face appointment at 10am and my problem was very quickly sorted out
