Review titled If you didn't suffer from stress before you will now
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 30 April 2024
Nearly impassive to get through on the phone, then just a hard to get an appointment. After all that you're directed to Chat Doctor who's sole purpose is to waste half an hour of your life asking stupid questions then not giving you the answer. All I need to know is which surgery to go to either Newport or Carisbrooke. Seems to be an impossible task

Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Benjamin - Posted on 29 March 2024
I was seen on time by the doctor who sorted out my medication. I appreciated the improved look of the Waiting Room and its very smart new flooring. The receptionist was most pleasant and helpful. All in all I was very impressed by my treatment. Having a pharmacy attached to the practise is also really useful.

Review titled Totally not listened to.
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Tried to book e consult. It said my symptoms were too serious. Rang up, seen by a Nurse I had never seen before. She totally dismissed my concerns, could give no explanation as to why she was so unconcerned. Waited ages on phone and 45 minutes at surgery, would have been better going out for a coffee. I am under 5 Consultants some world renowned but this Nurse clearly feels her experience trumps theirs.

Review titled Great surgery
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by PAULINE ALLEN - Posted on 20 March 2023
I have many medical issues. At all times I have had amazing treatment. Communication and getting an appointment can be difficult but they are understandably busy. I do think that the surgery was better when it was at Carisbrooke but that is out of their hands. I think that they do a great job and cannot thank them enough

Review titled This practice does not care
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 16 January 2023
Have jumped through every hoop this practice has asked me to and still I get no help from them. Despite my severe mental health and telling them I have been feeling suicidal because of the physical and mental pain I'm in they just don't care! I'm greeted with an offer of an appointment in a months time to discuss pain medication. When asked what I'm supposed to do between then and now I'm just told there is nothing they can do. How can people who work in a care industry be so cold and uncaring. I even mentioned on the phone that I feel like I would be better off dead then in this pain and there was no care or interest in helping me whatsoever.

Review titled Diabolical
Rated 1 star out of 5

It is just becoming an actual joke. cannot make appointments, they are never available often only a month in advance? You call to make an appointment, wait an hour to be told to call back later to see if any appointments have become available!! It Is actually quite disturbing. Smear due May last year, Had it just after Christmas. Contraceptive device expired September 2022, still waiting for appointment with the nurse to remove. Very disturbing and a real concern as this is really terrible for peoples mental health. Prescribed antibiotics to which I am allergic and yet told the ingredient wasn't in it so are questioning my reading skills! A simple internet search confirmed the ingredient was in the product. Slap dash at best. Some individual good doctors but you can just never see them!

Review titled Don't expect to see a doctor
Rated 1 star out of 5

Tried to see a doctor for a specific treatment only to be told no,then given a phone appointment asked to see face to face again another 5 weeks to actually see someone they really don't care and it has definitely got worse since it merged with Carisbrooke
