  1. Review titled Excellent experience

Rated 4 stars out of 5

This afternoon I saw the “duty” nurse-practitioner - what a superstar! They were kind, incredibly thorough, answered all my questions clearly & patiently. Some tests were even done on the spot. Overall, felt like “Rolls Royce” level of care. Big thanks.

  2. Review titled £30 to determine my career

Rated 2 stars out of 5

As a trainee teacher, we must get out GP's to sign off on our health and ability to teach. No-one in my class has been charged for this, until me. Being charged £30 for a stamp and signature is absolutely ridiculous. Trainee teachers don't get paid, and we have no time to get a part time job, so £30 is extortionate. Especially after being faced with the gate-keepers that are reception.

We are grateful that you have taken the time to provide feedback about our practice. We are sorry that you were not happy about being charged for completion of a medical report. The reason you were charged is because this type of work does not fall within the GMS contract and therefore, it as a private service. In order for the GP to provide their signature on a report, they would need to review your medical record in full to be satisfied they understand what they are signing and that they have answered any questions/ declarations accurately. More information about this can be found on our practice website under Non NHS Services.
