Recently for the First time attended here to see the Nurse, didn’t have to wait too long . Staff pleasant, nurse very helpful & pleasant . Very pleased with service , good experience so far . Thanks

I’ve had annual check ups for my asthma at my old GP Practice, but at New Community Practice they are super thorough. The nurse took her time with me and made sure we covered all points in detail, she was super friendly and gave some recommendations about how I can continually improve the control of my asthma.

I waited 2 weeks for results of a test, phoning several times to be told results ‘not back’. Today, I was told results were back within 3 days but the receptionists didn’t look them up!

The practice gives a good service. Getting in in the first place is the difficult part. Very hard to get an initial appointment. Contact by phone can be very difficult. I call in in person if I wish to speak to anyone.

First time meeting the family nurse and she was super lovely. Very good with the children for their vaccinations. We were very upset when our original nurse left, but she's an amazing replacement

This practice clearly deal with a nothin my priscription was a week late last time and this was blamed on a power cut. Benefit of doubt given roll on two weeks and here we are in the same situation nearly a week late they have power so what seems to be the problem!! Im looking for another GP

Had a very disappointing experience this morning. Spent 1.5 hours on hold on the phone only to get cut off. I think the problem is that this surgery don't want any in person / phone contact with you. I used to get a response using the NHS app, but they seem to have disabled that now. Now they seem to want you to contact them via the patchs system through their website. Don't bother ringing unless you do so bang on 8am to get an in person appointment. Gone are the days when you knew who your GP was! Good luck to anybody who isn't computer literate as you'll need it. Perhaps this is just the world we live in now.

Thank you for your reply. We appreciate your feedback and value all our patients’ experiences. I can understand that it may be frustrating to get an appointment with a local GP service at present. Therefore, we are constantly evaluating and taking further steps to increase the ability to see and treat patients. We have implemented these assessments by ensuring we have additional clinical resources on site to accommodate our patients based and needs and urgency. This includes increasing the range of clinical staff and working with local services to provide external availability for care. Our aim is to provide a well-rounded range of options for patient access which is why we have included our new service which you have mentioned above. If you require support with using our new software a member of staff will be happy to go through this with you. We do apologise for the delay in answering the phones. We do aim to answer the phones as soon as possible as well as having a diverse option for contact so we can deal with your request as soon as possible.
