Review titled cancelling appointment process
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I was not able to efficiently cancel an appointment today - having to go via a 20 min telephone queue - please add an ability to cancel appointments to your website / update the faq.

Review titled Amazing staff in reception.

by Michele - Posted on 14 October 2024
Was in awe of the staff in reception who showed unusual, sincere respect and kindness for the (sometimes difficult) patients who approached them.

Review titled Efficiency

The online appointment service is excellent. I have used it on several occasions and each time have received speedy responses and early appointments. It enables me to explain in a clear way my health issues and takes pressure off the counter staff.

Review titled Frustrating and inefficient
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Emily Kerr - Posted on 08 August 2024
I registered myself and my newborn with this practice because it was close to my house. The day before she turned 8 weeks old, and after chasing for weeks to get her 8 week check booked in (all via annoying form submissions as you’re unable to speak to a human at this surgery), I was issued a text message confirming an appointment an hour away from our house. After eventually getting a call back from the person who booked this, they said I was unable to change this appointment to the surgery opposite our house because they were fully booked. Why booking our 8 week appt was left to the absolute last minute is beyond me. Such an unnecessarily frustrating process.

Hello Emily We're sorry to hear about your frustrating experience trying to book your new born in for an appointment. This is not typical of the service offered by Nexus Health Group and we would be grateful if you could get in touch with us so we can explore what happened in this case. You say you cannot speak to a person at our surgeries but our sites are open from 8am - 6:30pm if you wish to speak to reception in person, or our patient access hub on the telephone. The majority of our patients do access our services via our online form, however if a patient does not wish to, or cannot use the form our staff will complete it on your behalf. Our patients can be seen at any Nexus Health Group site in North Southwark, but this is a choice for the patient to make. If you prefer to be seen at your registered practice, that option should be available to you. We would be grateful if you could please make contact with the practice team to discuss your concerns at www.nexushealthgroup.nhs.uk/contact. Kind regards Nexus Health Group

Review titled poor

I booked an appointment with Princess street GP practice this morning and was allocated an afternoon slot. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to find the doors closed with a note stating the clinic was shut for staff training. Discovering this on-site was incredibly frustrating. I had set aside time specifically for this appointment, only to have it wasted due to poor communication. I am extremely disappointed and angry that no one warned me, called to reschedule, or even apologised for the inconvenience. The entire experience was handled with a complete lack of professionalism. I urge the clinic to drastically improve its communication and organisational practices to prevent such unacceptable issues in the future.

Review titled Great session
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Duza Stosic - Posted on 17 July 2024
I was today seen by my GP and as always I had a great face to face session. She is a good listener and responds to my concerns with care and kindness. The medications she prescribes are always effective and I take them with confidence because they help me a great deal. My GP never stopped exploring new possibilities to help me with my illness and she is always ready to give that extra bit more, never too much in her respect. I am forever grateful for all her support I have received so far.

Review titled Very slow and poor communication
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Musa - Posted on 17 June 2024
My wife and I have been waiting for a Healthcare practitioner’s questionnaire to be filled out for us so we can get specialist treatment that we are unable to get under the NHS. At the time of writing this we've been waiting over 6 weeks and have paid a £90 fee. Each update we request recieves a generic response that says we will be contacted when the form is ready. The poor communication and wait time have made our situation quite difficult.

Hi Jackie In March we moved to an online request form for appointments. Those people who do not have internet, or do not wish to complete the online form can speak to a member of staff who will fill in the form for them. Patients will then hear back the same day with a face to face or telephone appointment, or information on an appropriate service or advice. If you have experienced a barrier to making an appointment, please get in touch with the practice team so we can investigate this for you. www.nexushealthgroup.nhs.uk/contact. Nexus Health Group

Review titled Really bad
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Alex - Posted on 17 June 2024
Since the surgery changed over to nexhus health group getting an appointment is near impossible within a week! Over 20 drs listed on their website and no appointments within a week! No priority for pregnant women either I have chronic illness and need an appointment for nothing for over a week. We wonder why our hospitals are so full up and a&e wait times are extortionate it’s because of places like this. It was easier to get an appointment when they only had 4 drs on the list tell me how that is possible! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all and will be changing drs from today!

Dear Alex We're sorry you have had difficulties in getting an appointment, and that you are changing GPs. Nexus Health Group patients are able to be seen at any Nexus GP practice, and our appointments are face to face and by telephone. If you complete the form at https://florey.accurx.com/p/G85034 you will hear back the same day with a face to face or telephone appointment. Depending on the circumstances, you may also be offered a range of future appointments so you can choose a date and time that works for you. Nexus Health Group

Review titled Always disappointing service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Bruce Peoples - Posted on 27 June 2024
Yet again totally underwhelmed. I have a recurring gun requirement for an injection every 3 months. When I showed up today after taking time off from work they could not find my appointment. Although the injection is only a vitamin and takes a few seconds they made me go through their booking system again. This practice has extremely poor customer service and makes all customers jump through hoops. It is not a good practice.
