  1. Review titled Worst experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Wendy - Posted on 08 July 2024

Absolutely abysmal GP practise. Only ever seem to be able to get an appointment with a Nurse and not a GP which isn’t very convenient. Had the nurses argue with me about what is a high temperature. Apparently 39.7 isn’t a high temperature according to the nurse. Also every time i have been its always is a viral infection without any sort of diagnosis or care to examine. Personally i feel as the practise is a joke and needs investigating as all practises should present their patients with the option to see their GP but this one fails on doing exactly that and every other experience there is met through staff who just don't seem to know what they're doing. Suggestions from staff are. High temperature isnt a high temperature if it isnt causing irritation. Viral infection on everything anyone goes in there for. Been registered for 5 years and only ever been able to see my GP once even when seriously needed only option to see a nurse. Overall this practise is so bad that ive had to change practises because the staff argued with me mid appointment and told me that they know more about my child!

  2. Review titled An unpleasant experience at the surgery

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 17 January 2024

I am elderly but active and haven't needed to visit the surgery for over 10 years. Recently I have been feeling unwell with a bad cough and flu-like symptoms for nearly 2 weeks. This illness has made me feel a lot weaker than normal. My wife telephoned the surgery for advice. She gave a description of my symptoms and I was asked to come into the surgery. At the surgery the nurse who interviewed me, albeit not unpleasant, was curt and made me feel uncomfortable. I felt threatened by some of his questions and annoyed that he appeared not to take into account I felt unwell. It made me feel flustered. The interview left me with a very bad feeling about The North Brink Practice. I think I will be very reluctant to come into the surgery again.

  3. Review titled Reluctant reception

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Alex - Posted on 03 May 2023

Having recently moved from a major city, I was appalled with how reluctant their reception staff are at dealing with patients on the phone. Tough luck if you cannot access the online triage form, you will be treated like an inconvenience for calling reception. I’m now desperately trying to change GP so I can at least get my hospital referrals booked without causing myself a brain haemorrhage in the process. As soon as you reach out to a third party their reception suddenly appears to become efficient and able to use a phone.

  4. Review titled Appointments?

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 April 2023

I’ve been with the surgery for nearly 5 years in that five years. The only time I’ve ever been there before a Covid jab for three years now I’ve tried to make an appointment and never had any luck. I’ve never had GP surgery this bad in trying to get an appointment

  5. Review titled I’ve never met my doctor..

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 31 May 2023

Diagnosed by reception, never met my doctor, I won’t rant here but could make a longer list.. Refused quarterly prescriptions for a life long drug so have to pay monthly, I know other practices do not do this. Wish I knew what to expect before moving into the area.
