Called for an appointment on 20.05.24 I wasn't expecting an emergency appointment so was surprised when the receptionist asked 'could I get in within 20 mins for 11.10am', I rushed out of work got there 5 mins before appointment. Stood waiting for ages before being booked in as the screen book in wasn't working, people were queuing just to get booked in and no receptionist on!!! Receptionist eventually came if from a break outside blowing smoke out of her mouth coming through the door (great ad for Docs). Got booked in eventually, sat waiting for nearly an hour until 12pm lunch, had enough, went to reception, waited again. Eventually, receptionist asked if I had an appointment, reminded her I had already booked in with her an hour ago!! The woman looked at the computer, fumbled about a bit, looked confused and continued to look confused until I suggested I come back tomorrow as I'm now due back in work, after being asked to rush to the Docs for this imaginary appointment. What a mess, fuming I was, things happen but at least apologise and keep your reception resourced. Obviously under resourced and rubbish at customer service. The surgery looks tired and needs a lick of paint, think I'll be registering elsewhere after today. Rubbish!
