    I rang the surgery this morning for a routine enquiry. I was 3rd in the queue. Oh not bad I thought. Won’t be long. 20 minutes later I hung up.

    Dear patient, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear of your poor experience with our telephony system. In your feedback you mention that you were in the queue and hung up after 20 minutes, I can understand your frustration. I'm not sure if you are aware of the 'ring back' option on our telephony system, this means you do not have to be on hold and the system will call you back once you are a the top of the queue.     November took my fit for work cover letter to the surgery they explained it would take 2 weeks for it to be emailed back I explained this would be fine as they have given me 8 weeks until I would no longer be able to work after 6 weeks a email and lots of visits to the surgery I was told my blood test was out of date as they couldn’t fit me in time for me to be able to continue to work I arranged it at the hospital yet again I went to the surgery to be told my blood test was back and hopefully the doctor would be doing it on the day she was in ,still never heard anything so went back to the surgery to be told the doctor is now off for a while , I asked to see the practice manager I was told by the receptionist that they said they will look at my notes but I may have to wait for the doctor to return in the next couple of weeks , I feel absolutely let down by the surgery Iv never had any issues before like this , I have found it shocking that I could lose my job my home and my health as this is putting such much stress on me ,and they don’t seemed interested or bothered ,some of the receptionist’s seems concerned and caring while others treat you like a inconvenience and to stop bugging them , this has now gone on for 2 months and I am no where any nearer to getting this sorted and days off losing my job

  3. Review titled A review on my tablets

    I had some blood tests, then I had a text from the surgery to make an appointment. That was two weeks ago. I filled a form in online, they sent me a text saying someone would get in touch with me, nobody did. I went to see them and was told the doctor was having a day off, and they would leave them a message to phone me. Lo and behold, nothing. I phoned again, but the doctor had left. I was told I was not on the list to have a call and the next day the doctor had a day off, so they would leave a message for the doctor to say I am chasing it up. I am still waiting to see what happens.

    Finally spoke with a Dr today and after some confusion, my query anmd issue has been finally resolved. I missed some calls and to the Dr/Surgery they did call back.I do believe there needs to be alot of work carried out to get the surgery (and that’s not the building) back to what it used to be as I always thought it was amazing and still can be. So thank you Northdown Surgery for sorting finnsly

    I submitted a form on the 06/06/2023 and was told by reception at the time it takes a maximum of 4 weeks. I have now been chasing this form for 2 weeks and I am been given nothing but a run around. The form is to confirm that I have not been treated for certain issues so I can go private. This surgery is widening their catchment area but yet cannot deal with what patients it does have. I find anytime I am dealing with the surgery it is stressful. Can this Healthcare practitioner’s questionnaire please be filled out ASAP.

    Terrible serive and level of care!! Received a message a week ago from the surgery to get an appointment regarding my results. Since then i've now rung them twice (30+ minute calls) "all appointments have gone" Been in the surgery 3 times was told "all the appointments have gone" and on the 3rd time, You cant come in to book an appointment you should do it on the phone, but was told to ring them after the bank holiday as they will have 1 and only 1 appointment available for the doctor i need to see. Phoned today, 17th in the queue, what a surpise all the appointments have gone. So i guess i give up now as im wasting my time trying and put my life in their hands.
