    Hello, I neeed to contact the surgery after a phone consultion on Thursday 20 March. I was informed by the Online Form Service that the form had closed for the day I should try the following day. This I did at 2.45 pm and given the same response. I spoke with the recetionist that the system was full and try the next working day. I get up at 03:45 and arrive home from work at 14:35. The new system prevents me form getting an appointment!! If there was a facility to extend the form for next surgery day, this would be better. David

    Thank you very much for taking the time to complete a review. We are very sorry to hear your recent experience with our new system was not satisfactory. We understand you have now had an appointment for this. We appreciate your feedback on our new appointment system change, this is under constant review and being tweaked based off the feedback we receive. We try to keep the online form open as long as possible until we run out of appointments, on some days this may be earlier than others but other days this can be later. If the form is closed, please do try again later in the day as we do try to re-open it where we can. Please note that you can also ask another family member/friend to complete the form on your behalf if this works for yourself. We hope this new form will work for patients and will improve access to appointments by not having to queue on the phone now. Kind regards, Norwood Medical Centre

    hi there I have been ill for over 12 months and not clear what is the problem I asked at my last appointment if they still did treadmill test and was told no but it still says you can get it on nhs I would like to be considered for this test can someone get back to me please

    Very unhelpful and rude receptionist, actually put the phone down on me. Explained I needed an alternative to be able to fill in a form online. Zero help. Could have offered a print out form. Absolutely no understanding for mental health, zero people skills. Don't bother being a receptionist if you don't care for people. Receptionists that used to work here were absolutely lovely, I don't know what's happened to this practice.

We have moved to our new online system to better improve patient access, avoid waiting in a call queue and see the right person for your query. Our aim is to give everyone fair and equal access to care, for patients that do not have internet access you can still call the surgery. We are sorry this was not the experience you had. We record all calls for training and monitoring purposes, and we would like to look into this instance further. Please can you call the surgery and ask for Maddie to discuss this further?     My first involvement with the new system; requiring a bp check: After being told of my 'appointment' at 1:30, I received an sms indicating a time between 12:30 & 2:30 - for a bp review. Therefore made myself available to answer a - presumed- call during the period. I got the the call at 1:45 & spent a good deal of time answering - in my view needless - questions asked by a person who I had difficulty understanding due to accent & speed. This took longer than my previous trips to the surgery had been before. I was told my prescription would be available from 'today', but I would need a blood test (& bp check). After approx 10 mins the call was ended. Then I got an sms saying to ring the surgery to make an appointment for the said tests! 1. Why wasn't this done during the first call? 2. Appointments were supposedly not to be made by phone & anyway has always been a major problem getting through - hence the reason I always walk to the surgery, a matter of about 500yds. So I rung & as expected I waited another 10 to 15mins, listening to repeat after repeat of 'helpful' messages re using pharmacy services etc & quote "...press 3 for a ringback or # to stay on the line...can hang up at any time...". I was livid, so much for my blood pressure! I must have heard all this 10 times in between hearing loud so-called music on hold knowing that if I pressed '3' & hung up I would still be on 'standby' waiting for - hoping for - a return call. I finally got through & made an appointment for the surgery visit; it was now 2:15pm. I had been by the phone since 12:30! In my view what had seemed a good system before that I'm sure most people had been happy with has now turned into a fiasco.

    I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your assistance during my test. Your professionalism and kindness made the process much more comfortable and stress-free. I appreciate your gentle approach and clear explanations throughout the procedure. It made a potentially daunting experience much easier to manage. I wanted also want to express my gratitude for arranging my blood tests. Thank you for your support, professionalism and care.

    Rang the surgery at 0850 hrs got an appointment and was seeing the doctor at 0940 hrs Fantastic service well done to all at norwood medical centre.
