    I have been registered here for a number of years, covid has changed the way everyone works including the GP's. I do like the telephone service as its less stressful when I need to be at work. Saying that I did come in and saw a nurse last wednesday who was excellent. I got the appointment on first call, waited till after the main rush at 8am, reception helpful and booked the appointment for a day and time that suited me. thanks to the whole team, shame others are so negative all the time. If we had to pay for the service would they stil moan. Thankyou Nuffield house

    On 3 occasions in the last 3 months tried to book an appointment with a GP-was on the phone each time nearly 1 hour. Got one appointment and despite the phone was with me at all times the phone ringed once and there was a message, that I missed a call. Spoke to reception -asked aGP to call again- as app are 10 min. Accused of being rude and the receptionist left inappropriate note in the record .Last two times - after a long wait by 9:30 was told no app left: Call next day. I’ve tried today 8/07/22 the receptionist pretended she did not hear me - and put receiver down after 45 min wait. Then another 45 min- this time - no appointments left. This surgery continuing doing only tel appointment - clinicians calls once and happy to tick off the appointment as completed. You can’t book a routine appointment You can not book face to face appointment . You can not contact the management by email. Often matter for which the patients need to contact surgery are not clinical. Hope next CQC visit will asses the performance as this practice deserves- failed

    Thank you for your anonymous review. We would always prefer that patients communicate with the surgery directly in order that specific concerns may be properly addressed. We currently have telephone, video and face to face appointments with our clinical team, we do offer telephone triage as first call with GP's and if needed they will ask patients to come in for face to face appointment.

    In the last 3 months I needed to contact the GP practice regarding my son and my self I called several times in the morning from 8 am till 10.30am and didn’t get any answer and today was the worst when you call and choose the option 1 the answer was we can’t take any calls and because I was very unwell I forced my self directly to the practice and there I just get socket about haw the receptionist vas talking to me see had a very rude manner and I was sent away and threatened I will be deleted from the sistem ! I vas sent away to get advice from a pharmacist after I explain is not the case because I have high temperature from Friday and I got from pharmacy paracetamol but didn’t help and probably I have lung infection but still see didn’t listen and send me away! Other times regarding my son I got the same not answering the phone and when I popped in to ask for emergency appointment I get the same rude behaviour! Please not the patients coming there because they need medical help and advice and not because they get bored and they don’t need to get more worse and do not get any help! Shame because who is working there it is allowed to behave like that! I can’t complain regarding the doctors or nurses because I didn’t get the chance to speak or see them !
