I completely understand the pressures of working in GP land currently but this practice leaves a lot to be desired. No polite professional answering of the phone just "Name of the patient". As all appointments had gone there was no other option, offer or signposting to anyone else that may be able to help. No triaging, which a while ago the receptionists seemed more than happy to ask about your problem. An all in all disappointing experience once again. Sometimes it's nice just to fee, although there are no appointments, someone actually cares and not that they just want to hurry up and get you off the phone!

I have had a illiostomy for 15 years and my gp got the reception staff to call me to ask to question why I needed an exemption certificate. This caused severe distress and I requested an appointment with the gp due to the impact this has had on me mentally and was refused. The practise manager has arranged to speak with me yet didn't state whether she would make sure the form got sent off as a matter of urgency and still hasn't made me an appointment with my gp as I am struggling with now chronic anxiety and also now severely depressed due to the actions of the doctor and the practice manager. Mistakes like this shouldn't happen to anyone let alone a vulnerable patient. The voicemail I recieved caused so much panic and distress and I still don't have confirmation the exemption form has been sent off stoma supplies are an expense I cannot afford to pay for. And I meet the criteria for exemption its the doctor failing to look at my records that this review has been posted. The appropriate organisations have been contacted due to my concerns that this mistake isn't the first one I have experienced with this surgery. I understand the staff member who left the voicemail was only acting on doctors orders but she should have checked like the staff did who helped me fill out the form when they checked which condition I have on their computer to click the correct box on the form

Over the past few months I have been receiving treatment for a condition I had never heard of before and during that time I have had superb care . Everything has been explained fully, tests have been arranged very quickly and results acted upon. I felt that I was given the time to explain my symptoms and and ask about anything I did not understand. Excellent care and service.

After an admin mix up on their part, but were very arrogant about.I was seen 4 days later by Dr who was excellent. Further test to follow later ar two venues.

I have seen a lovely, caring GP at the practice today, who took time and patience with me. 5 * service, but to be honest I have never had anything but great service from Oak Gables, from start to finish.

This month I requested their services, but unfortunately, as happens in the NHS, everything takes time. But you feel treated without compassion or empathy. I requested an appointment for a general practitioner and was informed that it is available in almost 3 weeks. I understand that these services are in great demand, but for a problem that would not have lasted more than 5 minutes, I think there is no need to wait 3 weeks. In fact, I requested fit notes, but they told me that I had to make an appointment at doctor. when I requested the appointment, they said it would take time......disappointed
