    In my past time with this gp there’s nothing good about it This happens to me everytime I wake up early to be on the queue and most times I get to the frontline there’s nothing for me everytime This morning I had called them cause I have been calling all throughout the week to get an appointment early for my baby with wound and eczema in his nappy area but till now I got nothing it’s hard to take him to the hospital because of the delay at the hospital and he has had infection twice already and I’m a single mum of two . There’s no one to look after my other child but this gp has never helped me and it’s really bad even with the rude attitude of the receptionists It makes me really question NHs service honestly cause it the worst . And I’m talking out of pain….

    my father is just come out of hospital not long ago after being admitted in for four months, we have been trying to contact the GP for the last three weeks. We have emailed them. We have gone in personally to drop off his new discharge summary and they have messed up his medication countless times. He is Severe epileptic patient and they sent the first prescription with his old repeat to a different pharmacy which we had to then retrieve only to find out it was completely wrong, we then contacted the GP to which they said that they’re going to book us an appointment with the GP the next day to get this solved, bearing my father has not had his medication for the last four days when the lady did Phone she said that the “GP is sorting out the prescription and will be sent straight away thank you. Bye “ without giving us a chance to even talk she hung up. They have now sent a prescription in the correct format to the pharmacy however missing his New supply medication and no review had been done by the gp as to stop it. And they’re response was “oh I don’t know why that been done but I can only book you in for an appointment tomorrow “ which they said to me yesterday! so that will be now five days that he has not had his medication and they have done nothing to help us. If anything happens to him, I’m going to make sure that they’re held liable.

    I would just like to say that every interaction I have had with the surgery and the interaction my parents have had has been swift and speedy. The responses to my econsult have been great and the interaction with the medcial staff has been excellent. I know this is a busy surgery with complex patients, but I can see how hard the team work to help its patients in difficult times! Recently my father accessed the econsult and he was contacted by the surgery with an appointment within an hour and called by the Dr the next day who will be referring him on very promptly.

    I have been trying to request a repeat prescription for my medication. I've been trying to get to Oak Tree Medical Centre for ages finally got through today, only to be told that I need another review even though I had one back in June. I told the receptionist I would not waste my time doing another one when it clearly stated on my record that I had one. I also told the receptionist to pass on to the pharmacist that if I have a fit or develop a blood clot and am taken into hospital, I will be holding her and Oak Tree Medical Centre responsible. They don't care.

    I have been a patient at Oaktree Medical Centre for many years and have always received first class treatment. Dr K in my opinion, a very knowledgable and reassuring doctor who takes time to explain things in a way that can be understood easily. He even took the time to ring me to ask how things were progressing after a recent diagnosis - something that rarely happens nowadays. I feel there has been a big improvement in getting through to the surgery in recent weeks and have been able to get appointments quickly. I feel very fortunate with the care I have received.

    Dear review board,, Usually i don’t really do reviews but today i was very upset and disappointed with the behaviour of one of the receptionist, usually they are nice. I have two terminal ill children and I needed to reorder the medication but they were being extremely difficult telling me dr texted me to get a review for my son medicine? But i didn’t receive the texts. Now I need to make a review appointment and everyone knows how hard to get appointments. They won’t give me medicine without a review, my son has Duchenne muscular dystrophy an awful condition with no cure and progressive so why the review? My two sons have this condition and I have always had problems with the GP sadly the reviews of other gps are no better so i didn’t change the gp. I’m a polite person but they don’t understand the importance of my son getting that medication on time. Thank you from a very frustrated and angry client

    I have been trying to get through on the phone today for over 3 hours. I was no 5 in the queue... 2 hours later I was no 1 then suddenly became no 9 in the queue. Dreadful system . How anyone gets an appointment at this surgery is beyond me. On previous occasions I have been assured the practice manager would call me... That hadn't happened. Overall if you can join another surgery I suggest you do because god forbid it's something serious... You'll be in big trouble. Thankfully this is not my surgery but I do need to speak with them regarding a family member..

    Since 4 days now I have been trying to get an appointment for my parents but this has not been possible because even at 8am when the surgery opens the line announces unfortunately the lines are busy pls call back later…so how on earth do you get an appointment..my patients are old and my mum is disabled…I feel so sorry for them You can’t even get a later appointment because they have changed the rules it’s only on the day appointments !!! Although their website states otherwise! It’s so frustrating wasting everyone’s time

    This practice appointments information is mis leading to patients because when you speak to the receptionist the system for appointments is altogether different…above all if you call at 8am for appointments, straight away you are told to call back later There’s too many calls coming through…my parents are disabled and it’s so difficult for th to get an appointment..I feel so sorry for them ..everyday I’m trying to help them and finding out how appalling their system is !!! I’m so glad I’m not with this surgery!!
