    The practice is great but Econsult is a disaster. I don't see myself as daft but Getting anywhere on Econsult seems impossible! I've been going around in circles for 30 minutes and have given up!

    I rang the surgery after receiving a voicemail to make an appointment for something that had already been cancelled but it worked in my favour as my health issue has reoccurred and after 10 minutes of waiting on the phone and a very repetitive hold message advising that the staff do not tolerate aggressive tone I was shocked to receive the treatment from a staff member there when I said the appointment had been cancelled few days weeks before by her colleague so unsure what to do and her response well do you want it or not in a very rude manner and I said yes please and that I work full time and so she said a date and evening time and I said ok and she hung up. There was no discussion that I would receive a letter or text to confirm and days later I’m thinking haven’t received anything but don’t want to call back because of the experience. I’ve worked frontline customer service for many years so understand the pressures and stress and this was during my working day which is also a tough industry but don’t feel you can have a specific message to say what you as a surgery won’t tolerate but it’s ok for your staff to have an attitude and hang up. Not a great first time impression as I’ve never been there before or had the procedure before so lots of questions as a GP referral for a skin cancer issue following facial surgery last year and another issue has arisen elsewhere so I’m already anxious. Not normally one to complain but concerning a colleague didn’t cancel and then this so not feeling confident. Please accept this as constructive feedback

    I requested an eConsult and got an appointment the same morning, which I assume was a cancellation. The person I saw requested a suite of tests which I was happy with.

    Put in an eConsult this morning, had a phone call the same day, antibiotics sorted. Really impressed as this was my first eConsult, the advanced nurse practitioner was great, would use again (hopefully won’t need to!).

    I've been trying to use this ridiculous system for years. Everytime I try to contact my GP I get sent around in flaming circles. I just want to simply mail my doctor and go. Half hour goes by and I'm still looking for the actual place where I can do this. Please make this simpler for the likes of me. I go to contact my GP. It comes up with the procedure then nothing. I love the doctors surgery and all the staff. There great but the e consult is rubbish.

    Surgery answerphone message repeatedly encourages patients to use e-consult. I have just wasted 20 minutes going round in circles unsuccessfully trying to do just that. Am still in pain and frustrated and know it will be almost impossible to reach surgery by phone on the morning.

    I attended with my wife today, having submitted an econsult yesterday. The surgery phoned this morning to give us an appointment this morning and we were seen by nurse practioner who was lovely, very caring and supportive towards my wife and the health issue that she has. Very gratefull for the help and support were were given

    Surgery encourages use of Econsult. I understand the reasons so on 15th April 2024 i used it to request two straightforward and innocuous prescriptions for minor complaints which did not need a Doctor's time. I recieved a response within 24 hours as stated. However the response said someone would contact me in the afternoon of Wednesday 24th April. Nine days after the request! I assume the clinician will sanction this resonable request and if so probably another five days before Chemist fulfills the order. Frankly if i had asked for a nurse appointment i would have the medication by now. So Econsult what's the point?

    Despite being in constant pain and being prescribed strong painkillers the GP seems incapable of actually issuing a simple prescription. I have waited 7 days currently for this most basic of tasks

    I received a text message from this surgery as they were trying to arrange a Dermascope appointment. They asked me to contact them. I attended in person as I couldn't get through on the phone. I was told at reception that they would contact me with an appointment. Who is correct? The sender of the text or the receptionist? I've been waiting over 4 weeks now. So I'm very confused.
