Review titled I found them excellent
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 08 October 2024
I have been with this practice for years and i know it was easy you used to just walk in take a no and that was it ,but look how long you had to sit and wait. I use e consult and how much easier is it you put your details and what is your problem and later you have a phone call and and if you need to be seen ,its later that day if required.

Review titled Worst service I have ever received.
Rated 1 star out of 5

Had an ear infection - went through the e consult only to be told I needed to see a medical practitioner - no callback option even though I'd given them all the details. Total waste of time and nhs resources. The electronic consultation option is not available outside opening hours. Why? Isn't this the point? Currently caller 11 in the queue Have found this site and completed the review whilst waiting. The surgery is a shambles - if they cannot cope with the patient numbers why do they still keep adding to them and taking money from the nhs. I work in the daytime so hanging on the phone for hours is difficult, and trying to be available for random callbacks is impossible. I effectively have no meaningful access to a gp. If this is the same for all patients at this surgery how much is it costing the nhs when people end up in hospital or have to queue at walk in centers only to be told they should have seen their gp. Perhaps they should just let me write my own prescriptions and cut out the middle man! One last thing - this review form doesn't allow words that are all in upper case - hence lower case nhs and gp! Another triumph of the system!

Review titled Difficult to Communicate With ;
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 20 August 2024
Initially visited a nurse who didn't listen which resulted in an econsult and GP appointment for medication. Test results left with no explanation or means to discuss causing worry. Inaccurate reporting on my notes . Unable to contact anyone Friday and yet again Monday , not open to phone calls or econsult so how do I access urgent medicine? Not much faith in the accuracy of reporting as none of the equipment seemed to be working etc. Very poor parking if you are disabled/ elderly etc Left being made to feel an inconvenience. Poor experience.

Review titled Poor

I ad to fill in E form, I had a message came back almost immediately to say I would get a phone call, the next day, So I stayed in specially Expecting this phone call! Then late morning, I received a further message, to say I would get a phone on 9th of July, all it is something so simple, but now I’ve to wait until July to get another phone call, before I can get an appointment to see a Gp! This practice is going bad to worse, I am deeply sorry that I have disturbed this surgery, I feel they are doing in there power to avoid you you seeing any Gp, It’s become a waste of our time, They don’t want to help their patience anymore, so meanwhile you can carry on a further month, whilst they consider if your worth seeing a GP! My wife 2 weeks ago had a similar impression, She eventually received a phone calll late afternoon, she was in a lot of pain! But a Gp just palmed her off with more pain killers, without Finding out the cause! They’ve made difference to her, I feel as read other comments from people, 7 people where dissatisfied, this Practice needs some radical change to make it good surgery again, 2 years ago I was praising the surgery not now. I talk to our our friends who attend, they also are very dissatisfied. With the service from this surgery, I used to think it was the receptionist at fault, I don’t think so now, there is someone who blocking you, all I can think they would prefer you to die first! This would get their numbers down. I am seriously considering finding another GP surgery, I want a few more years of life yet!

Review titled Awful

Having used the econsult as we are now told is the only way to make an appointment I have not been given an appropriate response. Have gallstones confirmed last year via private ultra sound, attacks very frequent so request to be referred for removal, instead receive message that I will have a phone call in 3 weeks and to be available to answer call between 8am & 6:30 pm! A call will not be helpful given that I detailed the problem already so this will just hold things up. They just don't care and do not listen to patients. Absolutely terrible practice

Review titled Avoid if you value your health

T U R N E D of new online booking system two days in a row. ! W H Y do we have an empty surgery but no way to access a Dr. ? When approached as to why. Apparently they cant handle the amount of people trying to access a Dr. The whole point of the new system was so it was supposed make it easier to access medical help. To add the waiting room was empty. Not a human in sight that could be treated.
