  1. Review titled Impressive

There has been a recent change in the surgery, staff seem more numerous and happy. My recent visit the (locum) doctor was fantastic, I felt heard. I have been informed at each stage and have felt supported. Staff are listening more and things seem to be more proactive. Thank you. Appreciate that people would like to see a more traditional reception at times but the electronic communication I have recently received has been quick, effective and kind. Whatever has changed, I hope for your staff wellbeing and patients that it continues.

  2. Review titled No answer

Rated 1 star out of 5

Have been trying for over a week to request a referral. Everytime I try to submit an online request, it says unavailable. This happens regardless of time. Online is the surgery's chosen way to book but doesn't allow you. It take over 30mins for them to answer any calls. It's shocking

  3. Review titled Poor

Rated 1 star out of 5

Never answer phone. Tried ringing but no answer 4 times. When i did get through to book appointment for my son i couldn't. Was told he had to ring. I asked if he phoned is someone going to answer phone as no one ever does and was told yes. He phoned after finishing work at 3pm and guess what ,no one answered. Three times he tried. Always told to do it online but all you ever get is an appointment for a telephone call. Thats no good when you want to see the doctor face to face especially when its to do with mental health.

Been waiting for 40 minutes and when asked when I will be seen I get a ‘we are running a bit late’ 40 minutes is a bit longer than a bit late. Had to leave work early and missed out on pay whilst I could’ve just showed up later. Would not recommend this surgery!

  6. Review titled Unreliable receptionists

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Visited surgery as I wanted to be able to pre-order my elderly father's prescription medications when required for him via the online service . I was given a proxy form and asked to fill it out and return when I could. Bearing in mind I need to catch two buses out to the surgery and two back home, I took the completed form back. I handed it to the receptionist who told me I'd have to go away and return with the form along with two forms of my id. I pointed out that the form didn't ask for this proof and that the only proof of who I was on me at that time was my disabled bus pass and my bank card but was told that wasn't acceptable so I went away to get what she asked me to produce. I returned a couple of days later and handed the form to a different receptionist this time. As I handed it over I asked if she would like some proof of id and she replied, "Nah. It's alright". I then told her I was sent away a couples of days earlier etc......... and I insisted she took the information from me. Somebody needs a bit more training I think Or the form should say whether or not proof is required.
