    I've been with this practice for 7 years. Overall, it was OK, I never really had complex issues and just a repeat prescription. However, I have recently starting having complex issues such as a breathing difficulty over the past three days. I called on Monday and got a call back from a GP who told me to book an appointment online which was only available in two weeks. Well, my problem requires more immediate atrntion as I have asthma by the sounds of it and I have no treatment to alleviate the crisis. My situation got worse in the evening and I called 111. They said to go to A&E or wait until my GP will call to see me next day. They said they would request an appointment within 24h. I got a call the next day, today, at 10am. The GP who called said since I'm able to speak full sentences, then the appointment in two weeks is appropriate. I said I'm feeling like I'm suffocating and it is debilitating, preventing me to carry out my normal duties. He continued to say he sees no reason to see me earlier than two weeks. I hanged up and I'm going to A&E. I'm also chanong the GP practice. Frankly disappointed with the lack of compassion and care. I am someone with underlying health conditions for years who is taking medication that can exarcebate the problems. If they don't care about that, I don't know what to say. I'll also report the issue to NHS.

    I thought I would express my thanks to the reception staff at The Old Court House Surgery. My family have been patients there for longer than I care to remember. In all that time we have been treated politely and with kindness. We have a son who has Downs Syndrome with severe learning disabilities. Nothing has been too much trouble for the reception staff and Medical Staff in making him feel happy and special. Thank you. A particular member of the reception team who is also a phlebotomist has gone out of her way to do blood tests for him so that it did not aggravate his mental health which was affected by the Covid Lockdown. He thinks she is gorgeous"! Hopefully, the lady will know who I mean, and realise that she has helped him enormously. Thank you. It would be remiss of me to not give a quick mention to the Practice Reception Manager who must be one of the most efficient customer facing workers in the NHS. Nothing is too much bother for her. Thank you.

    I contacted the surgery using their online form to request some medication that I needed quite quickly.I received a call from the surgery within 15 minutes of sending my request to say the prescription had been done and sent to my chosen pharmacy. I read so many complaints from people complaining about their surgeries doctors etc.I can really recommend the Old Court House Surgery.Starting from Receptionists Nurses and Doctors.They are all amazing.
