I call it 30 minutes window booking race. Not only you can't book an appointment for next day or few days later but if you missed the 8:00-8:30am windows then tough luck. Appointments can only be made over the phone, front desk laughs at you if you show up to book and appointment. Doctor referrals tough to chase, symptoms often not taken seriously, getting prescribed antibiotics simply over the phone, have to be glued to the phone the day you dedided to call your gp, missed the window and you get sent to walk in center or a&e. My local gp clearly a tricky business, trying to solve everything in one day by their terms. I'm at the point of not calling them, until the last moment or unless of an emergency, calling them makes me anxious , because I often have a poor experience when trying to get an appointment, probably nationality doesn't help either having *funny* accent. The list could go on but I better spend it looking for a better gp near me.

Dear Andrei, Thank you for taking the time to write a review and the feedback provided. I'm sorry to read that you have not had a positive experience. We offer in excess of 200 appointments a day, I am sorry that it has been challenging to book one and the difficulties you have faced with the morning phone calls into the practice. The referral system relies heavily on other services to which we have little control. Telephone consultations have become normal practice since the pandemic and the GP's are trained and competent in both their questioning and prescribing, inviting in patients for face to face appointments as and when necessary. The phone system will soon be updated, which should hopefully help the process, making it easier to get through to our multinational team. David Leigh, Practice Manager
