    I’ve had a few issues with this practice in recent months but today I had an appointment with the Asthma nurse for my review and it was the most complete and comprehensive review I’ve ever had. The nurse gave me all the time I needed and it was never rushed even though I took up a lot of her time with my many questions. She was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure I understood and answered all my questions. I’m not sure I’m allowed to mention her name here but the partners of the practice really need to know what an asset this nurse is to their business and they would do well to ensure that they keep her. Thank you nurse I really appreciated the way you helped me today even though you were clearly running late and under some pressure, keep up the good work that you do. If anyone needs to know the persons name then please connect me direct.

    I’ve been a patient in the area of a few surgeries but this is great no issues. But … I’d like to congratulate the staff & Nurses and reception ladies at your surgery whom we’ve been with for a few months everyone is quick to complain but not quick to congratulate the team here at old rd that help us pensioners out in emergencies where they can, I’ve also been a Reception Manager and can see when things don’t go the way they should at a surgery , your Nurses are happy when called in to there clinic's and to see them laughing and happy are second to none, we need to see this at our surgery at our time of life, as illnesses could be doom & gloom when ringing for an appt, but saying that I would like to see when ringing for an appt as a patient with Co morbidities and mobility issues slots for us to see a dr not a nurse when we need to, since April I’ve seen one dr, who is my designated dr but it would be nice to see a dr in urgent occasions not just a nurse So I’d be pleased if you could let them know I have praise for them all , , they are a great team even result's etc are on the nhs app or system on line are easy to get when there back and when there ready waiting for us to read if there’s an issue with any test you get a phone call. Well done team.

    I left my old surgery in April 2024 and since ringing here to my new surgery or using there on line website , I’ve had no problems at all , they have been quick to respond to me on line or email or just talking to me on the phone , I’ve been a Gp receptionist before retirement and have found this surgery to be great!! Nothing is too much for any of the staff including nurses and drs I’ve even now persuaded my husband to come here which he is doing as we speak great patient liason !!! Keep it up. 👍👍

    Unhelpful or unknowledgable reception and managerial staff lets down the brilliant medical aspects of this surgery. Over the past year, making appointments either online or by phone in advance has been reduced to telephoning first thing the next morning. To access their website and related services, it states you need a username and password from the surgery, yet the reception staff insist that you do not (having been trying access this for nearly a year, since they replaced the original working system)! To send a message online, "form not available". To make or cancel appointments, online "need to register". To register, "need to visit the surgery with ID" (despite having been with the surgery over 30 years), only to be informed by reception, that there is no need to register. I am also told there is no need to raise my voice. Again, I have to inform reception that I suffer from GAD (causing heightened anxiety) and that I am partly deaf, hence I raise my voice - clearly no sense of disability awareness, and potentially disability discrimination by repeatedly denying access to written (online) communication, which is obviously a more helpful medium considering my disabilities.
