Rated 5 stars out of 5

by justine mortelmans - Posted on 03 July 2024

I visited today and became very emotional in the appointment. This Dr was so lovely, compassionate and caring and made a huge difference to how i am feeling. It was a surprisingly amazing experience and i really appreciated how he took time to help me feel better and understand myself a bit more. Thankyou so much x

  2. Review titled Disappointed

Rated 2 stars out of 5

on 4th July 2024 GP asked for a blood test and the earliest date available was 29th August some 56 days later. I am away for a week on 27th August so was asked to call on 18th July when the September appointments are available. Other local practices can perform a blood test in days. Is this the best they can do.

  3. Review titled No answer

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 June 2024

I've been calling the surgery but it is impossible to get into contact with anyone since they do not answer the phone. I've been put on hold for over an hour and still no answer even though my position in the queue was number one.

  5. Review titled Poor service from start to finish

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Ian - Posted on 21 June 2024

You sit in the phone queue listening to mind numbing music for 45 minutes to reach “number 1” and they hang up. Again and again and again. I had to make five attempts to speak to someone! When you finally do get to speak to someone it’s like talking to a traffic warden. If you want an appointment be prepared to wait long enough for the illness to have resolved itself if you are lucky, they don’t care either way. It’s no wonder people go to accident and emergency . If you are lucky enough to be offered an appointment be prepared to take the day off work because you are certainly not going to be seen outside of normal working hours. If you even suggested it they have a take it or leave attitude. Poor service. Even taking into account the problems the NHS is having this surgery is beyond bad. Go and see a pharmacy instead

  6. Review titled Please sort out your phone problem and employ more doctors

Rated 2 stars out of 5

    by Karen j - Posted on 05 June 2024

Dear Team The average waiting time for phone to be answered is 45 minuets. How can you be fourth in the queue and wait this length of the time On two occasions after getting to number two, line goes dead Finally went to make an doctors appointment can’t book an appointment for three weeks,That is totally unacceptable If you go the surgery at 8.30 am and queue and still no guarantee Of getting a doctors appointment. I appreciate that they have had to taken on the crane surgery patients on but the level of service is totally unacceptable. I presume that for each patient taken on,the practice receive money for the additional patients why can’t the use that money to put mobile units in with additional doctors I feel so sorry for the team at the practice who are absolutely delightful and basically must dread going in to work Cranbrook has already good reputation for good doctor service, now it the topic of every conversation in the shops, chemists, over garden fences What I can’t understand Dr hindmarsh retirement was well known for a long time, over a year How could the NHS trust manage this transition so badly and who being held accountable This is not a reflection on the doctor,or nurses, or receptionist My frustration I have never ever had to complain about a GP service before The demographics of cranbrook area needs to be able to access a GP Far easier than this painful experience and with all the new. Homes that are being built I only see the situation Apologies for long email but the situation is not sustainable Kindest Regards

  7. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Paul King - Posted on 09 April 2024

Just wanted to thank you for seeing me last Friday and sorting out my cough with antibiotics so quickly. Also you are first doctor to explain why I have the drugs I have. Finally for changing the prescription frequency for my wife without question. Good luck with the new practice and for sorting out my NHS app.

  9. Review titled Going the extra mile...care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Often, Ive noticed how all staff make you feel relaxed and comfortable, you know you're in safe hands and always thorough. Kind. Today after a confusion re Steroid need, staff went out of their way to get more Steroid as it was short notice. All of the other times when Humour and Humility make the difference... I feel very fortunate to be in such safe hands. So grateful...Thankful
