I visited the practice for my annual review and took the opportunity to ask about weight loss support. The nurse was so supportive, well informed and knowledgeable but overall kind as this is emotional topic. I am usually quite nervous with these appointments but she made it such a positive experience that I will take action. Thank you

I made an appointment with a sore ear, I arrived 10 minutes before the appointment, a problem with the system, the ladies at the reception told me to wait, then I got a message that I did not show up for the appointment, and now I have to wait until Monday and make an appointment again, I am very disappointed. :(. I wasted my time and I will have to go to the emergency because I can't eat or sleep because of the sore ear. I had to move to another GP because I moved to Wakefield, this is my first visit I really needed and such a disappointment.

I recently had the need to contact the surgery about an elderly relative, for whom I care. I needed them to be assessed, to determine whether they were mentally able to make financial decisions, as I am dealing with a solicitor in respect of their affairs. I dealt with the Private Works team and they were absolutely wonderful. It was a stressful and upsetting time for me and she was so understanding and compassionate throughout the process. She kept me fully informed of everything that was happening. She helped me liaise with the solicitor, to determine exactly what he needed. The doctor then visited my relative in her care home and was really gentle and compassionate, holding a lengthy conversation with her, in private, to determine her mental state. I felt assured that my relative would not be stressed by the process. I was very happy with the service I received and would recommend them to anyone.

Had a recent visit to surgery and saw new gp who was very thorough in examination and explanation of diagnosis. Medication recommended cured my problem. Follow up phone appointment to check on progress was much appreciated. Overall was a very positive experience.

Phone system is hard to get through but once on the list for call back it’s just wait probably took 20 minutes 49 in front,but spoke to lovely lady who’s listened and got me booked in for appointment. Many thanks
