I made an appointment with a sore ear, I arrived 10 minutes before the appointment, a problem with the system, the ladies at the reception told me to wait, then I got a message that I did not show up for the appointment, and now I have to wait until Monday and make an appointment again, I am very disappointed. :(. I wasted my time and I will have to go to the emergency because I can't eat or sleep because of the sore ear. I had to move to another GP because I moved to Wakefield, this is my first visit I really needed and such a disappointment.

Had a recent visit to surgery and saw new gp who was very thorough in examination and explanation of diagnosis. Medication recommended cured my problem. Follow up phone appointment to check on progress was much appreciated. Overall was a very positive experience.

Phone system is hard to get through but once on the list for call back it’s just wait probably took 20 minutes 49 in front,but spoke to lovely lady who’s listened and got me booked in for appointment. Many thanks

A smear test is never something that you look forward to but I have to say I would highly recommend Ossett Surgery. Truly professional, explaining the test, it’s possible outcomes and treating you as an individual with dignity and care. The test itself was quick, no painful scratching. If you are due to have one, book now.

I have only been a patient for around a month and the service l have received has been exceptional. The last two weeks has been very stressful and all staff have been just lovely. The practice offer such a great service for example attending for a blood test within a couple of days. Special tests being sent and results back within a couple of days is just so scary but also reassuring. Last night a special thank you to the very kind and understanding receptionist. Also this morning a Doctor who rang me back with my test result, so compassionate, kind and very professional. I cannot tell you how grateful l am to have experienced such first class care. This practice is a great example of such superb care and is a credit to the Ossett community. Thank you once again.

I have no complaints at all about the practice but I have an ongoing big issue with the telephone system when I ring at 8.01 I am still getting the message 'the person you are calling is on the other line' the last time it was 8.06 when I was put in the queue subsequently no appointments left it is obvious the phone system is not coping this has happened every time I ring and it is very frustrating and worrying when you really need to see a doctor
