At the start of August was told there were no appointments until mid September, but after a further look the receptionist said they were unable to book ANY appointment for me and my only choice was to call at 8:00am (when the line is always busy). The reason I was told they couldn’t book an appointment was because they didn't know when the Doctors want there holidays. If my blood pressure was high before it certainly is now.

Dear Bossdog, I am sorry that you have had a bad experience trying to book an appointment at the Surgery. There may have been no further pre-bookable appointments left to be able to book until mid Sept due to them already being booked up. We then have a number number of appointments that open up for on the day booking at 8am each day. The receptionist would have been referring to these appointments by asking you to phone at 8am. As for the doctors holidays, we do know when they are and we have arranged suitable cover. Please may I ask you to phone the surgery and ask to speak to the manager then I will be happy to discuss the matter with you and to resolve the problem.
