    I don’t use the gp surgery but unfortunately I had a very bad encounter with the receptionist on at front desk 09/01/25 @ 4pm she was horrible not very professional. I came In 1st time had a blood test booked for my child. And there was no visible signs for blood test. The normal blood test lady was not at the desk this time. This was the receptionist from the GP with poor lack of customer service she either hates her job or needs further training I have dealt with a number of hospital bch and gosh & my own gp I have never ever experienced this level of shocking customer service her tone was wrong from the 1st point. She is sat at the front 1st point of contact. She then told me to read some sign which had no details about the blood test or where I needed to go. She then shoved her hand in the air & told me to just sit on the chairs I will be called for. At this point my blood was boiling. I had my 12 year olds daughter bloods done. I had raised this with the manger who I can say was apologetic but the lady at the front was clearly not sorry even then I approached her again. I would never be coming there again unfriendly & unprofessional site due to 1 lady who you have said at the front desk. I felt degraded the way she spoke to me there was also another lady who was having her bloods done said she was also rude to her as-well. So I now it’s not a personal issue but she needs to be retained or removed from the front desk. I am a civil servant & non of my team would ever speak to anyone that way. Very disappointed I really do hope this is posted as people who are attending need to know what the expectations are.

    Feel privileged to have such a good GP for my cholesterol management advice- especially as i approach my 70s. This sort of attitude and kindness is what we need to relive the burden on Secondary Care. Thank you.

    I have recently under gone blood tests in order to have a Health check. There was a problem identified and it was quickly dealt with, very efficient appointments to follow up and ongoing tests as needed. An excellent service from both Alfred Squire practice and Oxley practice.
