I’ve had an ear ache now for weeks - it is getting worse causing dizziness. This surgery keep fobbing me off to the walk in!! I work full time and I can not book an appointment in advance. Where is the duty of care? This surgery needs to be investigated!

Dear Patient, I'm so sorry to hear about your ear and that you feel fobbed off. For ear pain we normally need to see you in person so we can examine inside. Please either call in the morning between 8 and 10am on the day you can come in or submit a PATCHs request online with details of what is wrong so we can arrange a timely appointment. I have been a patient at Park Medical for over 20 years. Despite it being a busy practice, I have always received the best of attention and care from the doctors and the supporting staff. Arranging doctor’s appointments with the reception team has never been a problem and obtaining repeat prescriptions has worked without fail. I have always felt that I received real individual attention during all the various doctor’s consultations and that with a caring, but efficient, attitude. I would also point out the dedication in trying to resolve some recent issues that I received from the pharmacist. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and his thoughtful and empathetic manner has been of great help.
