    As the above suggests I have recently had an issue with my prescription. I have liaised with the lovely, kind and supportive staff at your Pharmacy who have been able to support me in being allocated weekly prescriptions. I would like to thank you for all of help, you has been very kind in your assistance and have made this process seamless I could not have done it without you.     The receptionists at the practice are friendly and really helpful. I only waited a short time and was told where I was in the queue.

    My husband has not long been out of hospital after a long stay and after having chemotherapy which took a bad turn and was really poorly with pneumonia, collapsed lung and sepsis in the stomach. He started with a cough which worsened over a couple of days when he came home, and had a fractured rib that didn't help. He sounded like he had a chest infection. I spoke to the receptionist at 3pm to see about an appointment after speaking to his hospital specialists on the same day. The receptionist was really helpful and said she will get a Dr to call that afternoon. We only waited around 20 mins for a Dr to call. She said she will see my husband if I took him around straight away. As soon as we went into the GPS, the receptionist booked him in and took us to the Dr's room, who saw him straight away. The Dr was very caring and professional in her job. He came away with antibiotics, and the advice that if he becomes worse to get intouch straight away. The care and support from the staff and Dr's was more than 100% and we cannot thank them all enough for going beyond the normal care you would expect. My husband has had nothing more than exceptional care from the start of his cancer journey to this day from all staff in Paxton Medical centre.

    This surgery is so well organised and efficient and the staff are friendly and super helpful. Today.the practice manger listened so carefully, respected my privacy and found the solution quickly from the GP there and then. Fantastic !

    I went to see the doctor on the 13th of June about having headaches which I have had for some time I explained how I feel about them he examiner me everything looks okay. I will send you for blood test. Go and see the reception and book appointment for blood test receptionist said 24th of June for your blood test. I think this is a long time wait for blood tests

    Hello Christopher, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. In this instance as the GP as not stated any urgency in these blood tests, our none urgent time frame for appointments is within 14 days (2 weeks). If the GP had mentioned any level or urgency we do have 'urgent blood test' slots that release daily. But as per our protocols the receptionists are only to use these slots if the GP or healthcare professional has stated they are needed urgently. We hope this explains the reason for the 11 days you're waiting for your blood test, if you wish to discuss this further, please contact the practice and ask to speak to Pauline Fletcher the practice manager.     18 june morning I phoned for an appointment the receptionist was amazing, I arrived at the the doctors the same receptionist recognised my name and was really friendly I seen the nurse who was amazing as always and the doctor who I seen after was thorough and professional. I came out and booked blood tests and the receptionist spoke to Jthe nurse and they did them then and there, I was extremely happy with service. I hope it stays that way because before certain members of staff ie receptionists were not very helpful or friendly appointments were impossible to get so please give all staff today a pat on the back and use these staff as examples of how to do it on others.

    The visit to the GPS was made easy for me because of the excellent work by the receptionist. She was easy to talk to and made requesting anything easy and not have to worry about making me feel as if I was a burden. Thank you. Plus the amazing work that Dr always provides. I would be lost with her.

    I had a chest infection, went to the claughton medical centre the first gp I had done all the checks and gave me antibiotics for the chest infection, after the course of antibiotics I still felt worse than I did before, having continuous hot flushes and struggling to breathe got an appointment on Monday 17th for a review, he didn’t do the correct checks which was needed and stated information to me that I was the same and my lung was still sounding bad and he proceeded to write false information on my medical records and sent me on my way, my condition got worse and I had to phone 111 were I was sent to arrow park walk in centre were a gp done the correct checks she needed and provided me with another round of antibiotics, my experience on Monday 17th has left me extremely appalled with how I was treated, if he done the correct checks and acted bothered about my condition worsening I wouldn’t of had to call 111 and I would of got given the round of antibiotics which would help me feel a lot better
